A safe product that works fantastic
*** Just re-purchased, I did not do it before summer like I should have and it looks like it’s mostly dead. I have full faith in this product though from prior experience! Last year my neighbors front lawn looked terrible and I got up the next morning and use this product on her lawn. Within days it was like a miracle! *** With cats that like to occasionally go outside, (supervised) and other wild animals and birds, I didn’t want anything toxic. This seem to have good reviews and I bought a hand crank spreader because I have a small lawn and it worked great. It took about five days and all of a sudden all of the yellow spots from what may have been fertilizer burn from the previous owners is green! There are some spots that I am reseeding (bought a Scott reseeding product. Expensive and weak grass that ALL completely died over period of time) But for this product I am amazed all the brown is gone and it’s so green within less than a week. Glad I bought a decent size bag. I will do it before every season to help the grass adjust to the weather changes. Again, it works!!!

.. fetilizers.. takes a lil longer to green up than others but then stays green longer.. pet safe, does not burn lawn..While you dont get the instant green.. its a gradual with full bang at 2 wks, the green lasts longer..thats the beauty of slow release.. you also don’t get the burn even when poorly applied..I used it this year in lawn and around my corn…💧💧💧💧One thing to remember is you need to water in for best and quicker results..And if its dry, you really need to water ev few days ( this wk ev other day)Pic is in aug 98° day in northeast..💁♀️The grass isnt going to suck up a dry product..it needs water toShimmy down tween blades and dissolve into soil😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺😺

Seems to Do What it’s Supposed To
I have only applied this a couple of weeks ago but the grass does seem to like it. It’s growing tall and very green. I can’t rate it’s effect over the long term yet. I am happy to put something on the lawn that is pet and environmentally friendly. I am not a fan of lawns in general and only have one at all because the HOA makes me. So this product seems like a good compromise to me.

This stuff is great and organic. Just don’t use while seeding. It has corn gluten which stops weeds, but will also stop seeds from germinating. So wait a couple weeks to seed or wait until after your seeds have germinated.

Many years ago when i began to care about my lawn bought Scott’s fertilizer to begin a rejuvenation but failed to do anything other than make few patches of grass grow high. In a home depot I read a bag of Ringer lawn restore and gave it a try with complete success total rebuilding of my lawn. Then had a back injury that sidelined me for many years so lawn fell in disrepair but now I’m back and see Ringer is rebranded as Safer Brand so giving it try again just hope to have the same results. I liked the way it works how nature meant it not force feeding the grass but replenishing microorganisms in the soil restoring the life it needs. It’s also safe for use around my pets and strays with one bag feeding my lawn three times a season. I just mix in a bag of ironnite & Epsom salts to give it little extra useful elements plants need so I’m looking forward to new growing season.

Could have been a 5 star product BUT>>>>
This misses the mark for what has been stated prior. The size of the material varies from larger chunks about the size of a pea all the way down to dust. This makes it very inconsistent to spread. The material hangs up in a spreader and will not feed properly due to such a poor size quality.It was annoying to spread period. Way too much dust material mixed in….could not tell half the time whether it was coming out or not. Which is too bad as I like organic fertilizers since they do not burn the lawn if you overspread too much here and there but this was just tough to tell what was going down.The smell was not bad once it was down. I watered it immediately and never had an odor other than during the actual time I was using the broadcast spreader.I may use it again in the smaller back lawn simply due to cost and just deal with the need to keep shaking the push spreader to get it to feed. Then again maybe not…we will see. If the granules were consistent and not full of dust and larger chunks I would have ordered it again for sure but as has been said in other reviews they have changed the product sadly,

No green in 3 weeks!
We followed the directions exactly and our lawn is NOT green!! It’s been 3 weeks and our lawn has not improved.We are very disppointed in this product.

Ok so if you’re looking for the best all natural fertilizer this is it . Your lawn will love it !if you have problem areas that just don’t seem to grow properly, use safer lawn restore. (Used to be called ringers ).The only draw back is that it is a little bit expensive compared to some others I’ve tried over the years, but I believe it’s worth it.
