Cozy and crackly
This candle arrives as full as is pictured. The scent is better than expected. It is made by Yankee so the quality and color are what you’d expect. They really would make a beautiful gift. It mostly burns evenly, which allows the colors to mix nicely. Best of all, have a delightful crackle sound when burnt!

Wood wick has mastered the art of candle
Burn time is much longer than my standard tall yankee 2 wick. Smells great and love the crackling “especially if you get a few going simultaneously”. I have no idea how to trim them or if its even necessary like standard 1/4″ wicks so I don’t bother to avoid destroying the cross wick. I also use a little torch “if necessary” and common sense to prevent wax tunneling on the perimeter. Excellent candle overall

Wow. The Fireside scent. I finally found my ‘go-to’ perfect candle!!
I have burned dozens of different types of candles over the years trying to find one that ‘really’ smells good and can permeate a decent sized room. I finally found it! This Fireside candle does both of those and does them well. It’s difficult to even describe what this smells like because it is so unique and different. It is outstanding!! Very calming and relaxing. It’s not perfumy or flowery. Kind of spicy and masculine. Burns very clean and actually does crackle as it burns. It is very classy looking too. Arrived very well packaged. Well done!!! Will definitely be buying more and will be buying them as gifts too.

Best candles ever!
WoodWick are the absolute best candles, handles down. Strong scent and last a long time. This is my favorite scent of theirs (wood smoke). The reason I took one star off, it arrive “melted” and appeared to have melted upside down so it was stuck to the lid and just looked bad after getting it reseated. I’ve never had that happen before.

Wood Wick Yankee Candles
Ordered 2 from this brand (warm woods & shimmering spice). The packaging was excellent. Sadly, I received the wrong scent (cypress ore) for one and the warm woods candle was unusable (old melting buried the wick in deformed wax). Both issues seem to be more of a warehouse issue because these candles are usually of excellent quality, scent, value (when on sale for $20 or less) & burn time. FYI, the cypress ore candle turned out to be a very nice scent so; I kept it & returned the defective candle for a replacement. The return & replacement process is slower, but easy. In summary, these candles are worth repurchasing, but be prepared to deal with potential shipping and/or handling issues specific to Amazon. For this order, I’d give a 5-star rating for the candles themselves & a 1-star rating to Amazon for not paying attention to detail.

After buying this candle in Humidor and loving the scent, tght I’d try this as “fireplace” is one of my fave winter scents to burn, this one did not disappoint!! It has a sweetness that blends well with the smoke scent. Fills the room nicely . I always burn for 3-4 hours to avoid pooling and uneven burn. At this price point it’s definitely worth the buy, the Woodwick website charges $35 USD, and they don’t ship to Canada! Highly recommend (but Humidor is definitely my favorite scent)UPDATE: After burning this candle every night, I noticed a layer of melted wax all over my counter, the flickering of the wick must cause the wax to spit up&out, not sure if this wld ever be a fire hazard but the fact I have wax all over the counter, I wld not repurchase or recommend

I love woodwick candles. I have a black cherry one which I love lighting and listening to the crackle, but what I really wanted was something that would smell like a proper wood fire too. They have several “fire” fragrances, bonfire, fireside, etc, but based on other reviews I thought I’d try this one. Definitely smokey! Success!
