I’ve tried many natural deodorants in plastic, cardboard tubes and glass only for them to fail! I also think it’s ridiculous to spend $14US on 2oz of deodorant, so I tried this first at Walgreens and its a reasonable price . glad I did cause it works ! they stopped selling it there though , so I got it here. I worked in a warehouse that got hot and I got swampy this scent lasted all day and into the evening. on me the lavender mix smells like a juicy fruit gum – no lavender scent to be found, but I’ll take that over smelling like stinky sweat! I like how its 100% plastic free even the bottom , which btw takes up 1/3 of the tube but it needs to be hardy I guess.. . The ingredients are pretty natural and haven’t made my armpits mad, goes on white and pretty smooth. be careful when putting on black though. I just wish the scents were less odd. the matcha apple one smells fruity at first, then smells like men’s cologne, the coconut one isn’t half bad. the rose actually smells like roses – which to me smells like 90’s grannies.

this deodorant is a more affordable, eco-friendlier alternative
been using this deodorant for a month now. was previously using Tom’s of Maine Unscented.pros:-it’s more sustainable. paper packaging, clean ingredients. they say it’s recyclable but i would opt to rip and compost it since it’s got residue. recycling processes are resource-intensive and toxic anyway-it works. i put it on in the morning, the scent is subtle and lasts through a full day sweating in sun until i shower at the end of the night. with my previous one, i could smell my sweat half-day through.-it’s more affordable. trying to go green gets costly. at $6/2oz ($3 per oz) this is the most bang for your buckcons:-it doesn’t smell great. i got lavender/vanilla but it smells like neither. i’ll try a different scent next time-it’s initially hard to pop up. i had to pop it up by holding my weight on it and pushing the bottom down against the end of a standing broomstick. but after that, pushing it out from the bottom with my thumbs was fine-it’s thick. the application is not as smooth as other commercial deodorant sticks. i think because of this, it leaves white flaky residue on my armpits. not a big deal to me, no one’s looking at my armpitsit’s not perfect. but overall, in an effort to live more environmentally-conscious, the switch was worth it for me.

It works…with bonus of NOT being in a plastic container!
Love Love Love this deodorant! I’ve been searching for something that actually works and this does. Very minimal “breakthrough” body odor. It lasts all day…and well actually more than a day. It goes on easy. The smell is nice and not overpowering. BONUS – it’s not in a plastic container! I wasn’t sure how this would work…but think of like a push pop…love it! I have been using it for a couple weeks now…so haven’t gotten to the end of the tube…but don’t expect any surprises. Give it a shot if you are like me and looking for something that is more natural and works!

Good but residue not ideal
Tested 6 deodorants with these goals:• Reduce odor entirely or minimize significantly.• Minimize wetness from any sweating (variable of course).• No aluminum (often only in anti-perspirants, and not great for you).• No phthalates (not great for you).• Natural fragrance (see last point).• Test each for at least two days which vary in exertion and stress.My anecdotal ranking (X/10):1. Duke Cannon ( 10/10 ) – Best across the board, especially the consistency which goes on smooth and clear. All day fresh.2. Dr. Squatch ( 9/10 ) – As good as Duke, but consistency was not as smooth and not clear. All day fresh.3. Hey Humans ( 7/10 ) – All day fresh, but consistency was not smooth or clear. Left lots of residue.4. ATTITUDE ( 6/10 ) – Fresh about 60% of the day and consistency was not clear or smooth.5. SoulDeo ( 6/10 ) – Included charcoal. Same result as Attitude. The peppermint scent wasn’t nice. Other scents available.6. Old Spice ( 5/10 ) – Was the baseline I’ve used for 20 years. Barely lasts 50% of the day and only gets 1 extra point for being clear.

It works okay, as in no skin irritation. My biggest issues were a few things. First, the smell. It has an after smell like urine almost. Second, the twist bottom doesn’t work to raise it to get more product out and I assume it’s because of the paper like material used for the casing. I understand wanting to use recycled things but maybe consider something the product can actually come out of.

Great deodorant! No irritation & it works! I workout and sweat so I know it works. I’ve been using this for a couple of years now & I trust it to have no irritation, no residue on clothes, great accent, & no B.O.

Delightfully Different Deodorant
I LOVE THIS DEODORANT! Not only does this deodorant work and smell GREAT (I’ve just recently gotten the Lavender Vanilla and have bought the Rose Ginger 2x before) they also use cardboard packaging AND are CRUELTY FREE! The scents are not too over powering and would mix well with any perfume or cologne. The deodorant goes on smoothly (there is a little bit of crumbles but I just put it on before I put my clothes on and they seem to be clear as well) AND I’ve NEVER had a deodorant mark from it either. I was buying it at the Drugstore but then couldn’t find it anymore so I came to Amazon- and although it is kind of pricey for deodorant- there’s NO ALUMINUM, they are Environmentally Conscious & No Animals are hurt PLUS IT ACTUALLY WORKS! I would definitely recommend this deodorant if you’re looking for something you can feel good about putting on your body every day!
