Excited to Get Started. Impressive Quality and Design Spider Farmer DWC System Looks Amazing
I’m constantly looking for new gear for growing. I just purchased the Spider Farmer 2-Bucket DWC Hydroponics Grow System (7-Gallon Deep Water Culture). While I’m still in the research phase and haven’t started growing using the DWC system yet. My initial impressions are incredibly positive, and I’m genuinely excited to put this system to the test.Right out of the box, the build quality is immediately apparent. The 7-gallon buckets feel robust and durable, suggesting they’ll hold up well over time. All the included components air pump, tubing, and air stones appear to be of high quality, which is crucial for a reliable hydroponic setup. It’s clear that Spider Farmer has focused on providing a well-engineered product. What really stands out to me, even before use, is the thoughtful design. The deep water culture method is renowned for promoting rapid and vigorous plant growth by providing excellent oxygenation directly to the roots, and this system is perfectly configured for that. The individual 7-gallon buckets are a fantastic feature, offering ample space for root development and the flexibility to manage each plant separately. The access ports for checking nutrient levels and pH look incredibly convenient, simplifying what can sometimes be a tedious task.Based on my research and the quality I’m seeing, I have high expectations for this system. I anticipate seeing explosive growth and incredibly healthy plants once I get my first grow started. The straightforward setup also looks promising, making it accessible even for those relatively new to DWC.I plan on using the Lucas System as my nutrients for my plants. I still need a few more items such as a PH meter and EC/TDS meter. Once I get those items I can start using this set up. From what I’ve seen If I do it right the veg cycles are insanely fast. They are ready to flower in about 4-5 weeks. For anyone considering a DWC hydroponics system, the Spider Farmer 2-Bucket setup truly looks like a top tier choice. The apparent quality, intelligent design, and positive reputation of Spider Farmer give me full confidence that this will be a worthwhile investment for achieving outstanding growing results. I’m eager to update this review with my growing experience, but for now, it’s 5-star based on initial impressions and promising features. Will update as I use the product.

DWC system, high quality and innovative design👍
I was worried that the material of the planting basket was not strong enough to support lush plants, but receiving the product completely put my worries to rest. This planting basket is made of high quality PP material, which is not only lightweight, but also has a strong toughness and weight-bearing capacity, which is perfectly capable of carrying lush plants :)As for the air pump, its performance is beyond my expectation. Some people may have misconceptions about it, but in my case, it performed brilliantly. Whether it was providing adequate oxygen to the plants or maintaining the stable operation of the whole system, it did so with ease and gave me peace of mind😀The ability of this DWC hydroponic system to precisely regulate nutrient solution and oxygen has allowed my plants to grow at a dramatically increased rate, compared to my previous diy buckets. Especially that triangular lid design makes changing the nutrient solution easy and fast, saving me a lot of time and energy.

    As advertised
Everything works as advertised, no issues with it, the motor is a little loud but not too crazy. The only thing I’ll say is after putting them together and seeing the inner workings of them, you could easily just build your own for a a quarter of the price. But overall I’m satisfied with my purchase.

    In Spider Farmer We Trust…
Ive been growing indoors with soil for the last 1 1/2 years, and finally decided to take the plunge and dabble in deep water culture. It wasn’t easy making a choice because of price difference, quality, name, etc…but finally settled on Spider Farmer. And I chose them for multiple reasons. One. Quality. When they put their name on a product, you can trust that its well made. Two. Style. Most of the ones i looked at on here were round pails, resembling a plain 5 gallon pail. Spider Farmer’s DWC buckets are more geometrically attractive with sleek flowing lines and their orange name emblazoned on a black background. Three. IYKYK. Spider Farmer has excellent support. Youre not going to have trouble. But if you do, they are always ready to help.I was nervous when I got the system. I know zero about deep water culture so I was pretty concerned about assembly. Rest assured, you can do this. The hardest part is probably pushing the lines onto the valves. Its firm hose and although I didnt do it myself, using a lighter to warm the ends might make them a little more pliable. But the directions are straight forward and simple. Nothing fancy and the only tool needed was a tape measure, but I could have gotten by without it. And Spider Farmer gives an ample amount of hose to make a mistake here and there anyway. I had an extra 3 feet! I havent run my system yet, so i will be updating this review when I do. So far, for sheer simplicity, looks, and quality, I give this 5 stars, and I’ll be back to update!UPDATE:Got everything up and running. This is practically plug n play. Just a few pointers for those who are putting one together. A heat gun would help to firm the hoses into a more organized layout. And when pushing your valves into the hoses, slightly warming the ends of the hose with a Bic lighter might make it a little easier. Also, there are little red balls for your water level sight gauge. They are super easy to lose if your not careful (I lost two). And don’t forget to soak your clay beads AND your air stones for a few hours.

    Awsome

Great quality and product, couldn’t be happier. Much better than the 20lt bucket systems.

  7. Thomas Mathews

These are great and I have watched tons of videos and read up on them. You can grow full size peppers, tomatoes and other plants in DWC systems. Hydroponics and Kratky are good but not for larger plants. Excited to use these. Very easy to put together and they are a good size.

  8. Amazon Customer

This DWC system is easy to set up and comes with everything needed to start growing right out of the box, including tubing, drip rings, net pots, and even a decent air pump. The new triangular lid opening makes topping up water a breeze, and the water level tube is a helpful touch. The buckets are sturdy enough, though the lids feel a bit thin and may flex under heavier plants unless supported. The net cups are large and fit well but could be more snug.
