p700 – fantastic grow lights. fantastic value
i’m running it on a smart plug (16 on/8 off), and it provides ample light for my houseplants (500 ppfd about 10 -12″ distance at 50% power – measured with photone app) without any adverse effects. i could probably raise it to 75%, but my plants seem quite happy right now.i’ve mostly used barrina t5s for my plants and they’ve worked pretty well, but this is a big step up.i also have a mars hydro ts1000 and this p700 is giving it some pretty good competition.also, viparspectra customer service was real cool in answering some questions i had prior to purchasing, which motivated me to pick this up. will probably get another one of these in the very near future.pros:bright af w/ 4 position dimmable brightness (best feature)included accessories (hooks, pulleys)fairly lightlow heat (like, not hot at all)quality housing/buildcons:no daisy chain (totally fine for my needs though)

I’ve been using the VIPARSPECTRA P700 Grow Light for my indoor setup, and I’m beyond impressed with the results. The build quality is excellent—sturdy, well-designed, and easy to hang with the included adjustable ropes.The full-spectrum lighting is perfect for every stage of growth, from seedlings to flowering. My plants have responded incredibly well—healthier leaves, stronger stems, and noticeably faster growth. The brightness is powerful (11,000 lumens) yet adjustable with the dimmable feature, which is a huge plus because I can fine-tune the intensity depending on the stage of growth.

I am beyond impressed with this light. (And so are my plants!)The adjustable output and ability to daisy-chain lights together is awesome. It is very well built and has a sturdy overall design. It covers a very good area for the size and price. Highly recommend this light!Update: I’ll continue to rave about this light! My Chinese Hibiscus was looking terrible under my old grow light. It was hanging on for dear life.. but with this new light – Look at this flower!! Within weeks I had tons of new flower buds!! No fertilizing, no extra steps, nada – just the proper lighting! Get one of these for your plants that require bright full sun.

Don’t believe what people say negative about this light online. My garden loves it you have to place it a lit bit higher than the book says but they exploded with growth over a few days after I replaced an old light with this one. The one it replaced was three times as expensive than this one. Sometimes you pay for just a name not with viparspectra, with viparspectra you pay for results period 💯 thanks to viparspectra for making a quality light affordable. As soon as you open it you can tell the quality of the leds are a better quality than other brands an the housing is not cheap flimsy metal it’s very thick durable metal. I like the heat sinks an how there is space between the housing an the meanwell driver so it runs cooler. I really like the adjustable dimmer. also the weight of the light Is so light compared to other more expensive lights. The performance of this light is so good you may need to turn it down a notch cause it’s very intense. I recommend this light 💯

I have bought every low cost option available on Amazon. I grew 2 amazing plants with yields of 1oz and 1.5oz with the low cost option. These lights tripled the output of the plant.High ppfd. No Noise. It is bigger and brighter than I thought. Cord is 3ft. The light has a dimmer switch, no timer.Works better than I ever imagined. Will be back to buy more.

The VIPARSPECTRA P1000 LED Grow Light has completely exceeded my expectations! From setup to performance, this light is a game-changer for anyone serious about growing.First, the power and performance are spot on—true to the chart with no exaggerations. The light intensity is impressive, and my plants responded with vigorous growth and, most importantly, incredibly dense nugs. It’s easily one of the best lights in its price range, hands down!Setup was a breeze, and the daisy-chaining feature is a fantastic bonus. It seamlessly connects to my Vivosun controller and even daisy-chains with my Vivosun light. The compatibility across brands makes this a versatile addition to any grow tent.I also appreciate the dimmable feature, which allows for precise control throughout the growth stages. Whether you’re starting seeds, vegging, or blooming, this light gets the job done with perfection. The driver is awesome, it does not get hot. I can touch it no problem.If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate. This is not just a grow light—it’s an investment in higher yields and better quality. Highly recommend it!Tips: when hanging lights put them on the ground in the tent first then extend the pulleys to the light on the ground. After hooking both sides up slowly ascend the light. Much easier this way.If you really wanted to you could fit the P4000 in a 4×2 and have 5-6 inches on each side. But this light works.

Upsides; Construction quality is phenomenal for the price. Exactly as advertised. Most people have mentioned, but the dimmer is incredibly smooth and precise. The light spectrum is pretty close to optimal, and includes both far red and IR diodes. Unsure if others who were complaining about the lack of IR knowledge what to look for, but it’s there (just one IR diode on the P1000, unsure of the other models). It’s also aesthetically a cool looking light, great colour scheme that matches up with most grow tents, if you are into colour coordination…Downsides; the driver seemed a little ‘worn’. Scuff on the top leads me to believe perhaps it was refurbished? Seems cosmetic only, with zero affect on the light, so time will tell if the driver becomes an issue. The coating applied to the diodes for waterproofing seems a little sloppy/uneven on application, but I’m being picky (all diodes are covered, but much of the board is not). Lastly, they are a little over optimistic on the flowering coverage, as it’s more of a 1.5ftx1.5ft coverage for flowering, making me wish I had opted for the P1500 instead.All in all, I highly recommend this light for anyone looking to grow one plant, opt for the P1500 if you want to flower a 2×2 full of plants.
