Its perfect. I got a more powerful air pump but the original worked just fine. No leaks super easy to put together. Will but the rdwc also.

Great value for the price, yet no different from the more expensive systems!
I was going to build my own setup with Home Depot buckets but after pricing out the buckets w/lids, the hoses and fitting, the net pots, expanded clay and factoring in the labor of painting the buckets black (to prevent algae growth) and modifying the buckets for net pot use, it’s as just way more practical to buy this. Plus, compared to the more popular brands offering nearly identical products, this was no different than any other but at least $30 cheaper.I will say, that exterior blue tubing feature is useless. Since the holes are already cut, you’re forced to use it or find a way to prevent water from leaking, but at the end of the day it does nothing. I assume it’s supposed to show water levels in the bucket but the tube is so thin and tinted that you really can’t see anything. I’ve seen a system that uses a half inch to inch tube for this and I may modify these to copy that, as it’d be much easier to see water levels.Anyways, the system is great and has everything you need to get started. You’d be a fool not to get it.

Nice but Loud
Just getting into hydroponics and made my own buckets and decided to let someone else do the hard work.The holes and rubber grommet to the straw for water level were perfect. The lack of readable directions and just a little different straw but easily figured out. The hardest part was the pump even using a hair dryer didn’t help much with getting everything secured. Clipping the splitter on became an issue as the clamp couldn’t be seated well.Even with that I would have given it 5 stars except the air pump is so loud you can hear it thru one brick wall and two shut doors( it’s outside and loud! Thus the 4 stars.It looks great, does the job it was intended to do and would certainly buy again but certainly would find a different air pump if you could.

Works great and comes as a complete kit no need to buy anything else comes with the pump and the air stones as well as the clay pebbles tooAmazed at the root growth and the size and quickness of growth of the plants my new favorite way to grow and you can’t beat the price for a set of 8 pots

the vevor works great product and pump in 2×2 tent and have 2 2×4 tents and grow room .
i bought one then i bought 25 ft 1/4 inch hose and connectors. well the one of vevor got sept late already over 2ft tall. and the others i made the drip at top dont work as well asvevor no flaws or leaks good dual pump for drip and oxygen bubbles to nute water.

No water circulation pump soo it’s not a recirculating system…..
Almost decent until you realize there’s no water circulation pump and oxygenation doesn’t cause recirculation which is what literally defines RDWC….. the reservoir is convenient for water changes other than that????? Without a water CIRCULATING PUMP. THIS IS LITERAPLY FALSE ADVERTISING ACCORDING TO THE FTC…. It’s not recirculating at all. They pull water from the reservoir as needed but aren’t circulating…. That’s not recirculating that’s a link dwc system for convenient water changes…… now I get to buy a pump and modify the system to actually recirculate the water as is its entire design. If I could leave less than one star I would. If you don’t understand engineering and physics DO NOT BUY

Review and tips for first timers
I havent had any issues with leaks, I saw some talking about it but I havent experienced any. The set up is simple but the rubber pieces are annoying to get into position.If its your first time doing hydroponics like it was for me, this is a great set up; note that deep wells arent ideal for a variety of plants, I am growing industrial grade hemp, which seems perfect for my needs. Only use distilled water, made the mistake of using tap and got nutrient lock out. I also made the mistake of growing industrial grade hemp potting soil then moving to the hydroponic system for vegetation stage, half of the plants did not make it from the shock.Hydroponics is not easier than normal soil, but its fun and rewarding when you figure it all out.Be sure to get a pH testing kit, a EC reader to test your solution, and if your setup is spaced out youll want more of the black hose (barely enough is provided).

super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis…wenn man alles selber besorgen muss kostet es auf jeden Fall mehr Nerven, mehr Zeit und vermutlich auch mehr Geld, wir sind absolut zufrieden; wir haben 2x Tomaten, 1 x Paprika, und 1y Physalis eingesetzt…Urwald pur 🙂 Paprika in der Erde hatte 4 Stück, in der Hydro 13, Physalis ist gewuchert Ende nie, Tomaten…keinen Platz mehr, so viele, und so einfach; sehr interessant auch die Wurzelbildung die man sich ansehen kann (einfach unglaublich welche Wurzelstöcke sich da bilden)..haben heuer unser Hydroponik-Projektjahr gehabt…Kohlrabi mag mehr die Erde, in Hydroponik nicht so gut geeignet, Melone auch nicht so gut, Tomate und Pflücksalat top, Physalis top, Tip- ansetzen- beobachten- lernen 🙂

un bon produit, faut être un peu bricoleur pour le monter mais c’est largement faisableles dimensions sont parfaites et le pot hydroponique est bien car large et profond (ça évite que les plans basculent)l’eau est projetée par jet (ça se règle) c’est un peu déstabilisantla pompe sert à la fois pour oxygéner l’eau mais aussi pour propulser l’eaule tout est assez bruyant ce qui fait que je n’ai rien mis dedans préférant la méthode kratkyles flexibles ont tendance à pas bien tenir aux raccords de la pompe, ce qui est dérangeant bien que les flexibles sont équipés de valves anti retourune bille dans un flexible extérieur nous indique le niveau d’eau, c’est plutot bien
