Great rug for a great price!
My rug came in today and I am so happy!! I needed a large size for this room but I am on a budget so I didn’t want to spend tons of money. This rug looks very high quality but still came in under $500 for a 9×12. It’s been down for a couple hours and there are still a couple wrinkles but I’m sure they will go away with time. There is also a smell, but that will fade away in a few days as well. I do feel like the rug looks a lighter in person than the pictures in the listing do. I like the light color of the rug, but that is something to keep in mind. Lastly, I love the look of sisal rugs, but I HATE how they feel on bare feet. I decided that I liked how they look enough to get over my sensory issues, but I must say this one is not as scratchy as others I’ve walked on! It certainly isn’t soft or anything, but it doesn’t give me the heebie jeebies to walk on it barefoot. Overall, I can’t say enough about how great this rug is!

High quality and beautifully neutral.
Beautiful runner! Love the color, it’s neutral and blends well with anything. We have an aging dog and wanted something to help her walk more confidently on the wood floors. The runner is highly slip resistant and hides debris well. It is thick and has a good weight to it. My kids have complained that it’s scratchy on their feet but I don’t mind it as I wear house slippers. I think it’s beautiful and love it! Heads up about the texture, it is not soft, almost like a woven thickness to it. I love it and bought more in different shades for different areas of the house.

Excellent Quality
Bought this for my bedroom down south and love the excellent quality. Color as described. No shedding. No damage of any kind. Unrolled beautifully and lays flat. No odor. Wonderful to use some it to layer with another rug on top. Comfortable on the feet. Easy to vacuum. Works with modern or traditional decor. Price is reasonable. This rug company always delivers a high quality product!

High-Quality Natural Fiber Rug — Slight Dye Issue
This rug is absolutely beautiful — the natural texture adds warmth and character to the room. I’m using the 11×15 size, and it really grounds the space. As with all natural fiber rugs, it takes a little patience to unroll and flatten, but once it settles, it looks stunning. One corner had the dye slightly off, and since I had it shipped to an out island in the Bahamas, I couldn’t return it. Amazon was quick to respond and offered a partial account credit, which I really appreciated. Overall, excellent quality and a timeless, versatile look.

Good Rug, but Crease will not go away!
Revision/Update. As of Nov. 11, this rug STILL has not gotten flat. The huge crease down the center is no better. VERY disappointed in this rug and no returns now.Original review: This is a nice rug. Very soft and a great color. The only and big problem is this rug arrives folded and the center crease will not go away. I have rolled the rug for 48+ hours, as the instructions say, but it did not help. The crease is STILL there and it looks bad. The rug would be amazing otherwise.

Beautiful rug, natural & organic
In love with this rug. Appreciated its look from the photos and was extremely happy when it arrived because it looked like the photos. The black border helps the rug to look more refined and less rustic than if it didn’t have the border. The rug is not a soft to touch rug at all – its rustic appeal can be felt through the natural fibers. Installed the rug in my office/flex space. The 8×10 was a great size and much larger than I was expecting for my room but it fit perfectly. Desk chairs moved across it easily. Rolled out flat immediately. I did wonder why they didn’t roll the rug up inside out to make unrolling easier but maybe I’m doing something wrong. It was easy enough to flip the rug around. I won’t be wearing outside shoes on the rug so it will be interesting to see how it picks up dirt and how simple it is to remove it. Overall, good value.

Not 8×8. Good rug otherwise.
This rug is ~7.5 feet long. Did not roll it out yet, so not sure about width. I by accident ordered two rugs, and they are both the same measurement, so I can confirm I did not just get a “bad one”. (Or did I get two bad ones?…)Other than that, I really like it. The marble color is a good neutral, not too cold, not too warm. The beige trim melts in well. The price is right. I do not notice any bad smell, as some reviewers mentioned. On the fence about keeping it, since I really wanted 8×8 (and that was already on the small side). Perhaps Safavieh should manage expectations by adding the exact measurements. I would have gotten the 9×9 in that case!As far as “easy to clean” goes – I am European and always liked this type of rug (also for carpet). It is super easy to vacuum with a European style succion vacuum, which is what we have, for our hardwood floors. Not sure how well it would withstand the US type carpet brushing vacuums. But to me it is an allergy friendly alternative to regular rugs. It can however not be cleaned with water at all. So, if you like to do that, this is probably not your rug.

My 5 stars are for service, since it arrived as expected and got refunded immediately as I shipped it back.I ordered this rug for my home office. The texture on the pictures looked smoother. It would have worked for another space but it was too rustic for under my desk. It seemed well done and nicely finished overall.

The rug is perfect, Amazon shipped me 2 of them and I can’t get any help in sending the one back that they sent by mistake. How long am I expected to store this huge rug for Amazon before they come and pick it up. I have better things to keep in my shed, I don’t need to store things for Amazon. This is the only way that I can get amazons attention.
