I have been using this organic fertilizer for years now and have been very please with the results of Plant-Tone. I use this fertilizer at the time of planting my garden and flower starts then another at 4-6 weeks after planting. This fertilizer will not burn your plants. It provides beneficial organisms and nutrients in a slow release formulation. My garden explodes with veggies… my neighbors are very happy too because they get all the surplus veggies. I also use this on my flowers… blooms galore! This fertilizer does smell a little as it is organic with components of feather meal, poultry manure, bone meal, and alfalfa meal. Once watered the smell dissipates in a few days. My peppers and tomatoes love this fertilizer. I grow huge jalapenos for grilled poppers!! Great product and I will continue to buy yearly to use on my garden and flowers.

Threw this in hole when planting.
Best plants ever. Used cheap potting soil, added this…after little delay..plants bursted in growth. Also ground planting I put hand full of this in each hole and same…great growth. You may want to add a “blooming fertilizer to boost blooms, but this stuff makes makes for good strong plants!!

Best blooms and healthy plants that I’ve ever had.
Originally, I bought the vegetable/tomato feed and liked how healthy my plants looked. At the end of the season when everything went on sale I found a few bags of this version and bought it instead. I am an avid flower container gardener… (if you have over 100 pots of flowers are you still considered an “avid” Gardener?) So before I became a flower weirdo, I used to dump all of my potting soil to start fresh every year. Now that I have 100 pots it’s not economical to do that. In 2023 I used a small kiddy pool to dump the old potting soil into, then Cleaned out the old roots, etc.; once done I sprinkled about one to 2 cups of this feed over the soil and then mixed it all together. This feed is amazing… It rejuvenated the soil and I have never had such healthy plants and prolific flowers before. I didn’t re-feed my plants again until three weeks later and then after that it was every 10 days to two weeks I would sprinkle more feed on the soil.. around the edges as well as the middle of the pot. I swear… once you use it you’ll become a flower weirdo, too !!

Meets my needs as an organic fertilizer. I was happy to find this size bag, too.
