Really nice, quality lamp. Bought this for my book loving gf and all around impressed with the height and angle adjustment along with a very sturdy base. You never know what youre going to get but this was a nice surprise. The light output is directed and as I said before, totally adjustable. It neither looks or feels cheap on top of that. Fits perfect behind the couch for her to use as needed.

Attractive and sturdy.
Just received the lamp yesterday so haven’t used it yet, that’s why only 4 stars. It arrived a day early (always a nice surprise) and was extremely well packaged with good instructions. It assembled easily and seems like a decent lamp with a very sturdy base. I doubt it will ever tip over. The location of the switch is well placed and unobtrusive on the lamp itself rather than on the cord. I really like the dimming/brightening feature. This lamp is an attractive piece that looks nice next to my sofa where I plan to use it for a reading light. So far, no regrets and would highly recommend.

A handsome and useful reading lamp
This is a fantastic over the shoulder, reading light! I’ve parked it at one end of my loveseat for cosy reading times. It has a very classic look but could fit in with just about any decor.The brass finish has a lovely, smooth look, that should not scratch or get dented easily. It was very well protected and shipping with no dings before installation.The base is fantastic. It’s very heavy and grounding for the lamp so it’s not easy to tip over.I love the dimming feature, which, rather than just a few settings is a fading dim with a hold-down touch contril. The light colour is not too white or sharp, but definitely bright enough for reading fine print. The adjustable head also allows tilting away, easily one less light is needed, and more when the book has itty-bitty words.I’ve had the lamp on for two hours now, and placing my hand directly against the glass under the bulb. It is barely warm to the touch. So this is not generating heat or a cause for heat hazard.Installation took me all of 11 minutes from opening the box to turning the light on. no tools required. The threaded segments are all metal to metal which tends to hold and last very well. Keep a careful eye out for the small brass bar that is attached to the lampshade for adjustment, it’s tucked into the plastic bag with the paper instructions.I have only just received it yesterday, but all is looking really great. Will share updates if anything changes.

Perfect lamp for reading , sewing
My first lamp lasted 14 months till the tiny on/off/dimmer switch stopped working. I contacted seller through Amazon and asked how to repair the switch. Even though one year warranty was up 2 months before SELLER SHIPPED ANOTHER ONE TO ME! Lamp is great. The base is heavy and stable. It’s easy to adjust position . Perfect lamp for small area. Light intensity adjustment is great feature. Seller is No 1 in my world! Thank you!

The Lamp came, we assembled it, good quality product, then we came to plug it in, the plug is no U.K , it would be fine if the adapter was for U.K but its for China or Australia, . The lamp is very nice just make sure you get an adapterI’ve now ordered one.

Very disappointed the plug is 2 straight legs and cannot use in the UK. I will need to buy an adapter in order to use the lamp.
