I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the LetPot 172 Pcs Seed Pod Kit. The sponges are sturdy, absorb water well, and my seeds sprouted quickly and evenly. Everything fits perfectly in my hydroponic system, and the quantity makes this kit an excellent value. The humidity domes and labels are a nice bonus and keep everything organized. Overall, a reliable, convenient refill pack—I’ll definitely buy it again.

Great Refill Kit – Easy to Use, Just Wish It Were Cheaper
Reordering this kit was super easy and totally plug-and-play. Everything came well organized with clear instructions—which actually taught me something new: you’re supposed to presoak the grow sponges for better germination. That made a noticeable difference this time around.While I do think the price could be a little more budget-friendly (especially for regular users), the quality is solid. It works perfectly with my LetPot system, and everything fits snugly.I’ve already got lettuce and cherry tomatoes sprouting—can’t wait to harvest!If you’re invested in your LetPot, this kit is a no-brainer for keeping things going smoothly.

These were impressive. The plant growth was almost like magic. Easy to use, functionally that was hard to figure out but then I realized you could just wing it. They are on the expensive side but if you want to have safe germination these little coconut cubes are impressive. Sorry no pics but my tomato plants GREW! 🍅

A quality ‘Seed-it-yourself’ kit
These pods fit snugly in both AeroGarden and LetPot hydroponic systems. They are have a more thin leg which allows for a little bit of flexibility, the sponges included in the kit also are more porous which allows for better germination and root development. I personally don’t like the A&B nutrition type however if you don’t mind the extra step of measuring and ensuring both A&B solutions are added equally.

Cool unit, but hidden expense!
This is great fun and we use the things we grow constantly, but I a gave it 4 stars rather than 5 for a reason. The instructions state you should not add plain water to the unit as the plants require nutrients. So, every time you have to add water, you must add nutrients. Makes sense, right? At first, I had no problem. But now I have fully grown plants and find myself buying adding water all the time. AND the additional nutrients. So, there is an ongoing and unexpected expense. No wonder I found this to be such a bargain! They may not make much coin on the unit, but they sure make money by perpetually selling you nutrients.

The sponges are labelled as peat, but are actually plastic. Nothing grows in it, it just goes mouldy

For the most part these things work great.I did have 3-4 of them go moldy though so not sure what might have happened there.For the price I feel it is certainly worth it.I would buy this again. I have had great success with basil, dill, and cilantro
