Good Replacement Supplies – Worth Buying Just For The Plant Labels!
The growing pods and baskets are slightly smaller than the ones that came with my system. But this is typical for refill hydroponics supplies, even from the company that manufactured my system (AHopeGarden). The grow sponges are pretty good – my seeds have germinated in them and the roots develop well. The light-blocking, round seed pod stickers are slightly smaller than the baskets. But they work to prevent mold OK.What made me go back to buy this kit a *second* time is the set of 12 green plastic plant labels that came with it. You can’t find these anywhere else and they fit the little holes by the side of each pod in my hydroponics system PERFECTLY. Plus they have cute little birds on the top. I use small stick-on labels with these, so I can reuse the plastic plant label when I replace the plant in that space. They are brilliant! It makes it so easy to identify what I started in which place in the system (head like a sieve – until the plants are fairly big they all look the same). Photo shows how they work (my lettuce looks weird as I just harvested half of it). It’s worth the price of this kit, just to get these plant labels – add in the replacement grow sponges, baskets, seed pod stickers and covers, and this kit is exceptional value 😉

I am a beginner Hydroponics Gardener and I am so happy my first experiment went so well. The plants grew like a charm and I got huge Parsley, Basil, peppers, sage, and cilantro. They grew so big and they look awesome! Once they got too big for the machine I pulled them out and the root balls were huge! I replanted in the garden and they are stars! I can’t wait to start them again and keep the gardening successes piling up! Gotta try this style, these sponges work awesome.

Quality and functionality
If you love to have interior and real plants, or even your own garden, it’s is the best way. Fit excellent in the machine, very fast grown and easy to use, very good price and excellent quality.

cheap and acceptable
Cheap and mostly do what they say. They do seem to be much more prone to algae growth and falling apart than the aerogarden branded sponges, I would use tin foil or something to block the sponge from the light once your plant is big enough. Still worth the buy over overpriced AG sponges IMO.
