Durable
Used these at a baby shower. Durable and I felt good they could go into the compost pile rather than more plastic in landfill.

Is healthier and sturdier than plastic when eating hot foods.
This is a very helpful disposable utensil. It’s much less environmentally harmful on the planet and is healthier and is sturdier than plastic for hot foods.

For Conservation It’s Great but Usage Is Just OK
It worked well for food I wanted to scoop up. It didn’t work super well for meat, like ham. I would not recommend it if you have anyone eating a meal with difficulty using metal flatware because they’re a child learning to use metal flatware or someone has Parkinson’s or another reason where they have shaky hands at times. These would make a meal very difficult for them unless it’s food you scoop up. The knife did cut the ham but it wasn’t easy to do. (Fortunately the ham had not been overcooked or I’m not sure if it would’ve cut through.) The fork picked up the meat but, of course, it didn’t go through the meat like a steel fork would. (The fork would not work for a lettuce salad.) It worked well enough for a family holiday gathering, and it avoided doing dishes on flatware, so it was ok. I’m not sure if I’d use them again. I’m glad we didn’t have to do dishes, and we didn’t use plastic, but it wasn’t the easiest for some foods. The good news is that none of the pieces splintered so no one had a piece of wood break off in their mouth.

Worked great for a large gathering. Substantial and no taste transfer to the food.
