Perfect for the garden
I used these for my garden, and they are sharp!! The lock and cover is easy to use, convenient, and feels sturdy and safe. They are small enough to be easy to store, but still do a great job.

Good value
A very good value. Nice quality and suitable for a woman’s small hands. As stated in another review, th closure latch is almost imposible to operate. I gave it a thorough spray of WD 40 and worked it back and forth a few times. Still difficult. I hope it eases with time. That is the only negative that I have found. Used for the first time to clip a finger size branch and worked well.

Great set of pruning shears!!!
This shear set seems to be very well made. They are sharp and easy to use. They lock when not in use. I have been doing a lot of gardening and planting and the two different sizes work great. They are designed very well and open and close very easily with a spring to keep them open when in use. I really like these pruning shears and feel they will last a long time.

Of course I got the lime green set — because if your garden tools don’t match, are you even gardening properly? These WORKPRO pruning shears not only fit the aesthetic, they actually perform like champs. Sharp, sturdy, and satisfyingly snippy — they make pruning feel more like a power move than a chore.The blade locks are a little stiff at first (think grumpy toddler level stubborn), but they do their job and keep those razor-sharp jaws safely tucked away when not in use. I’d rather a tight lock than one that surprises me in the tool bag.Solid build, good grip, and they look right at home next to my Flexzilla hose and lime green hori hori. Five stars for matching style with substance — and for not drawing blood during shrub day. Win-win!
