You get what you pay for in this case. The quality and uniqueness of this chime is very well worth the price. Neighbors come over on windy days to hear it. It does not “tinkle”. It’s a resonant bass.

I bought this as a gift, and the family LOVES it. It has the most beautiful chime. The family put it outdoors on their patio and thank me for it everytime I visit. Well made, beautiful sound
This is a beautiful, well-constructed chime with lovely sound. The 4-star, rather than 5-star, review is solely due to the fact that the color was clearly listed and shown as a deep, rich green, and the chime that arrived was a teal. I spent a long time debating between the “green” and copper, so the color was a disappointment. Otherwise, I love this chime!

Nice deep bell sound, not wind chimey
It’s been almost a year now and we still love the nice deep bell sound. Reminds us of a temple bell, not a lighter wind chime. It does take a strong wind to get the clapper to hit the bell, but that’s fine. We don’t have to hear it every day.When we walk past it, we hit it and it feels great.

Beautiful tones and just what I wanted. I had purchased another Woodstock Wind Chime, so I knew it was a well made product. The price was outstanding! As I write this, I am listening to the tones and enjoying the precision with which this was made.

Doesn’t chime
I put this beautiful wind chime in my gazebo which is located on top of a large hill and there is alot of wind. It is gorgeous but doesn’t chime. I really love the deep tone like habor ship bells but returned it cause it didn’t make beautiful sound. I kept hitting it to get anything out of it and the day I received it in the mail happened to be a very windy day.

I love the simple and clean look of this wind chime as well as the copper color. I chose the 24″ size (medium) which is a great size to hang at my front porch (not too big to be in the way, nor is it too small not to be noticed).The sound is absolutely incredible. It’s not the same busy, noisy sound as wind chimes have. I would describe it as a soft, gentle and deep calming sound. Because of its thickness and heaviness, and since the gong is inside the tube (unlike wind chimes where the gong is in the centre of several tubes), the deep bell sound is smooth and everlasting. There are two vertical slits which allow the air to pass through and gently move the gong.I would highly recommend this excellent quality Woodstock bell.
