After my Sengled bulbs stopped working, I decided to try these Tapo TP-Link smart bulbs, and I’m glad I made the switch. Setup was incredibly easy—probably the smoothest experience I’ve had with smart bulbs. Using Alexa, I was able to set up 8 bulbs in less than 20 minutes, and they all connected on the first try without any hassle.The brightness is excellent at 1100 lumens, making them a true 75W equivalent. Rooms that used to feel a little dim are now well lit, and the dimming feature works perfectly for creating different moods. The 16 million color options are vibrant and fun to experiment with, and the white tones range from warm and cozy to bright and cool, which is great for both relaxing and working.Another big plus is that they’re Matter-certified, so they integrate seamlessly not just with Alexa but also with Siri and Google Home. That future-proofs them and gives me confidence they’ll stay compatible long-term.Overall, these bulbs are reliable, bright, versatile, and very easy to use. I recommend this, here’s why
It’s easy to set up.You need to download Tapo app from App Store, create an account, have the light switch on and insert, wait for the light blink 3 times. Once you got it on Tapo, open your Alexa or Google Home, and then link the account to it. ( you can find how to in google or YouTube)It’s pretty bright, one bulb is enough for bed room, 2 work great in kitchen, 3 or 4 in living room for that brightness.I use this, it’s so convenient. The weather is getting cold, and it’s hard to pull self out of bed….. by just saying xxx, turn on the light, turn off the light is so easy….. recommend for anybody, even setting this up for your parents, or old ones.

The lamps are ok but the blue is kind of a washed out blue and if your home WiFi doesn’t support IPv6 you won’t be able to use these.

this works great with my alexa system, the 75 watt bulbs function unlike the 100w hue lightbulbs that did not work on my light fixture (fan/light). Setting up with challenging at first, but that’s probably because I did not read directions carefully.

Easy set-up
Perfect replacement for my Z Wave bulb that became non-functional and it appears they are no longer available. Putting in a Z Wave switch wasn’t an option because the switch for my 102-year-old porch light doesn’t have a neutral wire which is required.I already have Tapo cameras so the set-up for this bulb took 30 seconds. Although this bulb has many colors, brightness adjustments, and timers. The basic features like, “turn on my porch light at sunset, and off” at your choosing is ideal for my needs. Happy with this purchase.

TP-LIink Tapo Smart Bulbs Work and Play Well with Others
I use Kasa smart plugs and TP-Link products so it made sense to me to consolidate and invest in these Tapo bulbs especially since they connect via Matter, Bluetooth and WiFi. In addition, they link to Alexa and Smart Things so I can control my devices in a multitude of ways, my favorite of which is Alexa. Entering a dark room with an armful of laundry and just telling Alexa to turn on the light doesn’t get any easier than that. What might be easier is pairing these lights. Yep, while I was reading to see how to link them, each app had already found and paired with both bulbs. All I did was rename them and assign them to a group. Easy peasy. My only regret: my previous bulbs were 60 watt equivalent, these are 75 watt equivalent, but the white light is no brighter. Is that a deal breaker? No, especially when I can change the vibe with a request for red, pink, green, blue or whatever color I want. I like these so much, I’m ordering another for the study.

A little difficult to program. Connectivity is pretty hit and miss. Noticeable delay. No noise. Works well, but not perfect. Compatible with iPhone through a the home app.

I bought these as an upgrade to the TPLink Kasa KL125’s they are definitely brighter and they support Matter. For what I use in my home thats about there the pros stop with these. They have very poor low light performance when you dim them where they turn a ghostly green and the bottom couple percentages where other TPLink lights still have a nice warm glow at lower light settings, and two, they dont integrate as seamlessly into home assistant. I had to log into my network, track down the IP and enter them by IP to register into home assistant and manually log into TPlink again for them. The kasa items seamlessly integrate. Hopefully these last as long as my Kasa bulbs have, and maybe a firmware upgrade to fix the light dimming if that is possible. In the meantime I will keep Kasa bulbs around in the rooms I want it to dim and these will just have to turn off when dim light is desired.

Ho reso il prodotto perché la confezione era stata aperta e una delle due lampadine era stata usata.Inoltre il prezzo è alto.La gestione del reso è stata perfetta. Con i messaggi con il fornitore abbiamo chiarito tutto e si sono prodigati per gestire al meglio la restituzione (negli USA).
