Well worth the purchase
I’m very impressed with the quality of these cameras, and the feature set of the Tapo app. The cameras are easy to set up, and work flawlessly, providing very high quality video. I can even view the video feeds from my computers (Apple Macintosh) using the Tapo app. My only gripe about the cameras is: I wish the vertical tilt range was larger. I placed a camera on a desktop in my office to be able to check on a litter of kittens we’re fostering, but the camera can’t tilt downward enough for me to see any kittens that might be on the floor right in front of the desk. I subtracted one star for this.

Basic with limited view range.
I use one outside my apartment door since I have no windows there. The other is inside at a junction so I can keep an eye on the cat when I’m out. These camers are just ok. The picture quality is enough to see whats going on. Night vision also is adequate enough for my purposes.The biggest issue is the range up and down is disappointing. I can’t find a good position or location to be able to see who’s at my door AND what they left on the doormat. It’s either one or the other. Same for inside, if it’s tracking the cat and she comes to close to the cabinet the camera is on, it loses her and stops tracking completely. I tried a low profile wall mount and same thing, it can’t “look” straight down. It misses about a 2-3′ radius around itself when it’s sitting level at about 5′ high. Which is pretty substantial. If I position it to be able to see the ground it can only look up about 4′. So i can’t view the counters, windows or cat tree. (The Wyze fully articulating camera solved that issue….but wouldn’t stay connected to wifi and constantly needed updates when it did). I’ve tried different locations, height and angles. I finally picked the least worst.I haven’t had issues with staying connected like I did with Wyze, but there is quite a delay to receiving alerts. I wouldn’t be able to say thank you to the delivery person before they left. Sometimes they don’t record even though I have a good size sd card installed. Sometimes the outside one alerts me there is tampering but there isn’t anything nearby to cause tampering. However, It’s mounted to a flexible holder that I wrap around a railing. So it’s possible it slips or occasionally a stray cat will take an interest. I wish the Wyze camera I had had the Tapo connectivity. But both were laggy. It kind of defeats the purpose. I think I expected something similar to what I had at work which was essentially a live feed and alerts in real time. I bought this set used-like new, so they were a good value for the bit of information they do give me.

These cameras were purchased to place in my workshop, we like to have the ability to monitor the space when I’m out there working by myself and of course capture any activity resulting from break-ins. The area I am covering is 30×40 and I am very impressed with the picture quality of these little cameras! The images are sharp and clear with the only drawback being areas that are lit by sunlight streaming in are a bit washed out. The night vision is clear and crisp. I mounted the cameras in 2 ways, but for an area this large and being monitored from 8-feet up I have found that mounting them upside down gives better viewing range. Easy to setup, connected quickly after disabling mobile data on my phone. The app is fast and easy to use and best of all, no ads. I will definitely be adding outdoor units to my setup very soon!
