Still great although remote not working
Great lights I used them as a Christmas decoration in glass I show pictures. Great quality except the remote doesn’t always work but I have on a foot switch so I don’t have to bend over to turn off. Still work wonderfully stuck in glass cube and wrapped a bow around it and that it great product fix remote.

I recently added these Govee LED lights to my room, and they completely transformed the space! The brightness is perfect — not too harsh, but strong enough to light up the entire room. Great room ambiance and wonderful light quality
I have had these lights for about 6 months and I love them. They’re excellent quality for the cost. It comes with a remote and offers lots of settings. The only thing is the directions are not helpful with setting up personalized settings like the DIY buttons. They offer an app that is odd but helpful to micro adjust the lights and to set up a timer and such but most times it launches an ad you must watch prior to being able to access your lights. The light quality is really great for the cost. The brightness level and dim level are superb. The remote battery was bad upon arrival but a new battery fixed it quickly. These lights offer a wonderful ambiance for my bedroom no matter my mood whether it be playful or relaxed or music that aligns with them. They’re great and are my favorite accessory for my room by far. I used them everyday and they’re still going strong after 6 months or so. Buy them. They’re great!

I would give it a 5 star review if I wouldn’t have had to replace a light strip already after a few weeks of use. The beginning of the wire seems flimsy. I have to mess with it to get it to work correctly. It will either not go on. Or go to a wrong color and flicker to different colors. All 3 of my kids have light strips in their room. 1 I replaced due to the beginning of the wire acting up like I mentioned earlier. And my 2nd light is starting to act up. I learned to brace the beginning of the wire for best longevity connections. As long as you have a good brace the lights are great!

Work very good lights didn’t burn up after a year of them on non stop the use of them is great adhesive sticks and stays length is perfect for a master bedroom never had a problem with them blinking

Useful to assist elderly
I love these. Easy to put up, many color and brightness options. The sticky backing keeps them up very easily but they will also come down easily when it’s time.I used to have these up around my living room but have since figured out a new use for them. My mother doesn’t see well a night and loses her balance. I have these laying on the ground from her bed to the bathroom. She calls them a lifesaver, lighting her path.

Does not stick well! Constantly falling down!
First of all, I want you (a potential customer) to know that I am extremely disappointed, but I shall not let my frustration taint my review. Had I known how this product would have turned out, I would have bought another option for sure as my intended use for this light strip was for the common stick to the perimeter of the room right below the ceiling. However, as the adhesive is very poor, this task is impossible for the product to accomplish by itself as it claims, at least for the unit I received.I am writing this review 3 days after installation, while it seems that some of these reviews people have left have been before they even unroll the light strips. Of course, I cannot be sure about this product as a whole and can only inform you of the experience I had with one light strip, but at the very least I can say this product’s quality control is not great and you may very well have a similar experience should you buy.I followed all the instructions to installation, making sure to wipe down the surface beforehand and let it dry before applying.Review:- Overall: I would say this product could be great for DIY projects or anything that does not require you to rely on the adhesive that is included. I rated this product 2 stars and wrote most of this review, but I lowered it down to 1 due to the customer service promise issue.- Adhesion: I rated 1 star, but I would have given it 0 if I could. It’s the main issue with the product, while I was applying them, the other end would start falling, even though I made sure to apply them in a way to not add any extra weight to the strip. Over the past 3 days, I have checked in on these constantly, having to push on them to make sure they stick to the wall and don’t fall. They are definitely sticking less and less each time as more and larger areas are falling off each time. This morning I came in the room and only about 20% is still stuck to the wall, the rest completely hanging down, not just slightly pulling off like it usually does before I come in to push it back on.I also had an issue when I tried to peel off the plastic protecting the adhesive from 2 of the lengths, the adhesive came right off of the LED strip!! I was forced to peel it from the other side to save it from being totally unable to stick.The package also comes with a few sticky clips to help secure the strips, which were absolutely necessary to get them to stick for as long as they did, but you would need far more to get the entire 50ft to stay up.- Light quality: There is a brightness category which I rated 4 stars as I think the product, though is a little dimmer then I thought, is sufficient for the price and the density of the LEDs. Also considering they are RGB, they are really not meant for primary lighting, but an accenting glow, of which they do decently. There is one strip that has a section that seems to be slightly dim though.The color quality is decent, though there is a section that is slightly different then the rest being slightly more blue for certain colors. The white setting (which of course is made from mixing red, green, and blue therefore is expected to not be a pure white) has some variation in the strand overall, with some slightly more green spots along the strips.- Remote control: I rated 4 stars as it works well, nothing special, and you have to aim it within a pretty close angle, though that’s pretty normal. There is a phone app that you can connect, but I was not able to find a way to get it to work with the lights, though I haven’t tried very hard since the lights won’t stay up anyway.- Customer service: There was a card included with the product that says they will solve your problem if you are unhappy and respond within 24 hours to your email. I emailed them 48 hours ago and no response. I emailed them again before writing this review, not sure if I can update this, but I will if I can about if they respond to the 2nd email.Overall, I would not recommend buying this product if you want to rely on the adhesive it comes with! I have a few friends who have bought very similar looking products (they might be the same one, but I am not sure) and have stuck to the wall better. Maybe there is a better product out there, maybe my specific unit was flawed, maybe the best option is to just buy more sticky clips. I tend to think that my specific unit was defective due to all the other good reviews, but if the customer service does not reply to me, it is important to keep that in mind when considering this product.

Honestly, there is a reason these are cheap. I would splurge and get the govee ones. These do not work as intended. The colors do not match up and they don’t all change to the same colors. Also only have of them work when you change them to red. Too late to return and they are already installed. Also the adhesive removes the paint on your wall…Quality is not great, the remote control doesn’t work well at all. I do love that you can adjust the brightness and have a variety of options.
