Q1: What do I do first after receiving the light?
A: The battery could be low after long time storage and transport, please connect the solar panel and light then let it charge in the sun for 1-2 days before installation.
Q2: How long is the battery runtime?
A: When the battery is fully recharged, it powers the light for up to 15 hours (all night) in constant mode or dim-to-bright motion sensor mode. In cloudy days or between September to December, please adjust the solar panel to face the sun for optimal charging.
Q3: Any precautions for installing the solar panel and light panel?
A:
1. Don’t install the solar panel in the shade of trees or buildings where they can’t absorb sunlight.
2. Don’t install the solar panel near other light sources, as bright light could cause the light to stay off or blink at night.
3. Don’t install the light higher than the solar panel, as the light cast on solar panel could turn light off by itself.
4. Don’t install the light panel near air conditioner outdoor units, as the heat could affect motion sensor functions.
Q4: What’s the recommended maintenance?
A: We recommend you clean the solar panel once every month in dry seasons or sandy areas, to remove the dust and debris that could lower charging efficiency.

Motion-On Mode: Lights up from Off to On when motion is detected, providing 100% brightness for 20 seconds.Dusk-to-Dawn Mode: Remains constantly illuminated from dusk until dawn at a steady 10% brightness level.Dim-to-Bright Mode: Transforms from a consistent 3% light intensity to a vibrant 100% brightness for 20 seconds upon detecting motion.

Bright light that works with solar

One did not work
These come as a pair, so I used one of them in my outdoor shed. It turns on when I open the door because it has a motion sensor. I was very pleased about that. The other solar light did not work no matter what mode I put it on. That second light was not as bright either. I placed that solar panel in direct sunlight all day. I did not see a remote control for this pair. But it has an easy button to change between modes. I do like the design of the holder that I can screw into wood and then slide the light source into. Then the solar panel itself also has the same holder design where I can screw it in place near my roof and slide the solar panel into. It comes with screws and anchors if needed.

Lots of long lasting light.
Vesitile, easy to install and quite bright. The range of the motion sensor insures that the light is on before I get there. The daylight charge insures that no matter what time I get home the doorway is lit. The low light setting keeps things visible until movement calls for more. Stands up to the elements and there is enough cord to move the solar panel where YOU need it. Rain doesn’t bother it at all.

Solar Outside Light
Works great, and no, the power cord does not need to be unplugged from the lamp in order for it to go on. The light is bright enough to light up my shed and not overpowering. It’s not a floodlight but enough to see where you are walking. Good light and the price is very good.

1 worked fine for a year the other didn’t
I liked it. Was responsive and bright enough for purpose BUT I am not sure how I feel about it lasting me less than a year. I bought it just last this time last year and I noticed it wasn’t working about 2 weeks ago, the line broke.Other problem was one worked and the other didn’t

Great light, super easy to mod and improve further
These lights give off plenty of light and last all night is set to Dim with Bright with motion.But they are also easy to take apart to modify them to be even better!The molding suggests they use 2x 18650 batteries but it really only uses 1 18650 battery at 2000mah. At first it works great as mentioned before for all night, when new, but as they get older, that single cell just isnt enough last all night.Ive been able to easily modify them to run with 2 18650 cells instead of 1 which will help ensure they work all night for more than a year.Superdanny should really consider selling a version with extra battery capacity so as they age, they can still retain enough juice to keep it going all night long for much longer.
