    Great Product, Great Price
Very strong shelves(for plastic)! Fit perfectly. Lots of options for growth. Keeps my spices organized and viewable. Used to be minutes to find my spices. Now it takes seconds! Would buy again.

    Great organizer. I recommend it…but
I like this product a lot and recommend it. I’m giving it 4 stars because someone put a lot of thought into designing and creating a very adaptable product. It could be 5 stars with a few changes. There are 2 shelves in a box and they are well packaged. The 1st picture shows 2 shelves (1 box) set up side-by-side and then another pair stacked on top…2 units, 4 shelves total The cabinet interior is 23-1/2 inches wide which is wider than what one shelf will extend. I will have to say that the spacers got me pretty close…like less than 1/4 inch close. This review will be a bit long, mainly due to the fact that you really can’t just assemble these (though they are easy to assemble), stick them in a cabinet and load them up.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Design: pretty well designed. Whoever designed it must have spent their youth playing with Legos or K’nex blocks because this is how these go together. There are a couple of design flaws though. The first is that hardwood cabinets always have a nail cleat at the top and bottom of the cabinet (see 2nd picture). The installer will screw into this cleat rather than the cabinet back to attach to the wall. MDF cabinets like you will get at Lowe’s or Home Depot or have in an apartment don’t have these cleats. The Spice Shelf won’t fit all the way to the back of the cabinet leaving a gap between the shelf and the back of the cabinet depending on the thickness of the cleat (see 3rd picture). Now if your cabinet is narrow enough that only one shelf fits in it then mounting the Spicy Shelf on the cabinet shelf pins would solve this. This brings me to the second design problem…you cannot put 2 Spicy Shelves side-by-side and have them supported by shelf pins because there is nothing to support the middle of the 2 shelves. I understand why, but I think a different leg could be designed to allow this. There is also no way of securely connecting 2 side-by-side shelves. They just sort of flop around. Fortunately I had a couple of machine screws and locknuts that I used to fasten them together using the slots for the side screws.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Construction: The fit and finish is pretty good. I had a couple of legs that didn’t seem to fit tightly into the slots, but it wasn’t horrible. The back legs fit the worst. They are kind of wonky and tend to want to move to the side. I only had a couple of pieces that needed to trim off excess plastic from the moulding process but I did it with my finger.⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sturdiness: *REGARDLESS* of the configuration I would highly advise screwing the shelf to the sides of your cabinet with the supplied screws. Even if you are placing one Spicy Shelf in a cabinet and it is flush on all 3 sides the legs wobble a bit and the wider the shelf is extended to fit the cabinet the more the wobble. The wobble isn’t horrible, but since the legs aren’t real tight you could dislodge a leg or two if you bumped the shelf reaching underneath especially if you have the shelves stacked. If you were using these for the small plastic spice containers or boxes of tea using screws might be overkill. So the few minutes it takes to drive the screws is worth it especially for glass spice jars. Now, you aren’t going to be able to drive the screws with an electric drill/driver even with a bit extender…it’s just too tight of a space. You will need to put the shelf in place, mark the holes, remove the shelf, partially drive the screws in, reinstall the shelf, and then tighten the screws by hand. The screws aren’t terribly self-tapping so pre-drilling is advised.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Assembly: Very easy. The side legs are universal so you don’t have to mess with “put part A into slot B”. The spacers are easy to snap in and out. Good instructions. And if you get stuck just go to their website.⭐️⭐️⭐️ Capacity: I’m not sure these shelves have the rated capacity. And capacity is going to vary depending on the size of your cabinet, how you configure the shelves, and what you are putting on them. Spice containers, or any container for that matter, vary in size and shape. I managed 46 jars of various sizes between 4 shelves…18 less than the 64 the manufacture says that just 2 shelves will hold.Overall I’m quite happy with the result. A big improvement over what I had. I would highly recommend Spicy Shelf. Enjoy!

Good product, tends to bow in the middle and not very sturdy.

    Perfect! Solution
I looked all over for spice racks for our new kitchen. I didnt want our new cabinets to have racks hanging on them. Or have to take a few more steps to the pantry. Ive always had my spices in the upper cabinet next to the stove. Just like in the commercial my spices were all over the place and ontop of eachother. And almost all have black caps, so i would always lift one and then another over and over to find what i need or take everything out. What a pain. But this is awesome and so perfect my new cabinet is only 12 inches wide. I love that you can configure this in many ways. It works on the stand, and on my cabinet shelf clips. So you can really customize this. I might change the way i set it up but for now it should work just fine. I can now reach everything, and see everything. Its organized so nicely, and i have more room for other spices too. It feels very sturdy. Its not flimsy at all. I have read many reviews saying that it is. My only suggestion is making sure it touches the sides of the cabinets from the back piece not the side pieces. Where they give you extra pieces to add to make it fit tight. If that doesnt work then try it in a smaller width cabinet. For the price this is a great buy.

    An organizers dream.
The spice cabinets were getting bad. We would constantly knock about 3 things out of the cabinet every time we went to grab something. Saw these online and figured we would give it a try. The setup was pretty simple, the shelves snap into one another kind of like the old girder and panel toy sets back in the 70s. Once it locks into place, it is a solid little shelf. Depending on your space these things are expandable and can hold different assorted-sized spice bottles. The wife fell in love with the fact that it frees up space, and you can visually see the spices better. I also went back and ordered a second one for the medicine cabinet. A lot easier to see and read pill bottles now.

    Worked fairly well.
I just purchased the Spicy shelf, to create better usage of space in my small home. My spices were in several different places. My cabinets a somewhat small, builder grade. 16.75W, 11D next shelf is 13.5 H. My spices are in all different size containers. Okay.It didn’t take long to put together…20 minutes, fairly intuitive. ( Im not a put it together girl.) The instructions adequate, packaging excellent. No missing parts.Found out that my cupboard is too small to stack the shelves, without removing the upper shelf in the cupboard. Not happening. So I deconstructed it down to one shelf, and adjusted the leg height ( nice feature) to accommodate two levels of spices. It absolutely will not go high enough to accommodate the larger bulk containers, so I kept the unit narrow as well. The back center ” leg” is fairly useless, wobbled, so, since I wasn’t expanding it width- wise, I just removed it. You probably will need to use it if you want to expand it.But it did meet my immediate needs, and allows me to pretty much see what I need.

Erfüllt seinen Zweck. Aufbau war nicht schwer, jedoch sind die Einzelteile nicht sehr gut verarbeitet. Aber es macht im Regal etwas her und sorgt für Ordnung.

This was not easy to assemble. Also be sure to check the measurements with your spice cabinet because in ours, most bottles didn’t quite fit. Best would be if you have uniformly sized bottles that fit. Then this would be perfect.

  11. Ender

This thing is rubbish. The whole apparatus is unstable. Cardboard would have have been a better choice than the the flimsy, poorly molded and fragile material they used. Don’t buy this thing and tell your friends not to buy this thing. In fact, if someone ever gives you one of these things as a gift, you should immediately punch them in the face and never speak to them again because you don’t need that kind of negativity in your life.

  12. Pablo Duken

The extendable shelves are a good idea, but there is a lack of support. So when you put your spice bottles on it, the shelves bend in the middle and slope forward. In other words, flimsy and useless.

This product works great. It’s easy to assemble and fits into even small cupboards.
