Sturdy, High Quality Hydroponics Tower
Where do I start? I am really super pumped about this new addition to my #1 summer passion of gardening!I’ll start at the beginning. The package overall was pretty heavy. When I opened the box, I was relieved to see how well it was packed; there was no damage to this beautiful hydroponics tower! Assembly was fairly easy. The very detailed instructions made the assembly of it much smoother. The only issue I ran into was that the tower base fits very tightly into the bucket lid. I’d not have it any other way otherwise there is room for debris to enter and the tower wouldn’t be nearly so stable. I did have to get my dad to help me get it in, but I was too in love with the overall set u on that I got nervous I might break it. I probably could have done it on my own.I assembled the rest of it on my ownOnce assembled, I auctioned the motor to the bottom of the water bucket, with its hose attached, and popped in the cover. I have a video & picture of the parts in my review forbyiu to see everything there.If you haven’t used hydroponics before, this is super straightforward. Its awesome for experienced users and beginners alike. Once the tower is assembled, you have a cone shaped biochar seed base to set inside of each basket and then the trick is to carefully drop in one seed. They have a tweezers for this. Once in, drop the basket into the tower.*** hint: this tour is designed to be compatible with multiple different size hydroponic growing cups, and these long cups are a little bit too narrow to just sit in the holes without falling in, but there is an easy solution for it. All you have to do is gently turn the cover with the holes in it for each level until there is a little hump or a hill of the white plastic showing through the hole. After this was done, I then added the long baskets in, and they were able to easily sit with one lip of the basket outside of the cover and not being lost inside the tower.since you don’t use soil in hydroponics, you don’t cover a seed with soil prior to germination. Instead, you would use the little stickers included with the baskets and cover those on any seeds that do not require light for germination. This is really important on certain seeds, so read your seed information to find out about the crops you are growing.pipe primarily grow in soil at the moment, but it’s not because I don’t love hydroponics, it’s just because I have a very large elaborate raised bed garden in my backyard with nine large beautiful beds. I’m going to be using this tower for a variety of lettuce since some of my beds being so tall, are rather deep, and salad greens do not require deep growing matter. when I get my next tower, I plan to do a mixture of herbs and I would also like to try some strawberries in it, but I do have two large strawberry patches in my garden already, so we shall see. Maybe I’ll keep it all herbs. Once I have some seeds that are growing, I will add a few extra pictures, with this tower is extremely sturdy and well built, and I feel confident that it will last for a long time.

Easy assembly. Great new hobby.
I got this hydroponics tower to help my granddaughter grow a cut flower garden and some basil. This kit is great for beginners/kids. Everything you need is in the box except the seeds. We added a grow light.The manual is simple and easy to follow. No confusing steps. My daughter put the whole thing together by herself in about 20 minutes. I mostly just watched and made sure she was doing it right.The tower feels sturdy and doesn’t take up much space. We have it set up in a little corner near the laundry room, and it looks clean with no dirt or mess. The pump runs quiet, and adding water is quick and easy. The smart timer works like it should, so we don’t have to think about it.We saw little sprouts in just a couple of days. Now we check on it every day. It’s been a fun way for her to learn about growing plants from seeds.This is a great new hobby. This fully meets my expectations.

Grow sponge 6-pack
These work ok. The plastic sponge holder is a bit longer than I needed and hits a support inside my Aerogarden tank. I still used all six to start seeds. Some seeds germinated, some didn’t. But that really has nothing to do with the sponge. All it’s for is to keep the seeds moist, and that it did. It will work fine once I adjust a few things like water/nutrient ration and using better seeds. It’s worth the $5 asking price.

nice little set, I actually ended up making my own little hydroponic system with my 3D printer since I have lots of air pumps for aquarium use so I wanted to try this out. Seeds have sprouted but will have to see with time how it holds up. Love that there’s little moisture domes. Definitely an interesting experiment so far!
