Yes, they are ultra sharp and cut easily. I did appreciate the fact that the padded parts of the handles were removable. Just a personal thing, but, I felt like I had a better grip and more control by removing the lower one. There was a bit of a break in period as the blade had a position where it would stick slightly….some WD-40 and use improved it. Overall…great quality item and at a most reasonable price.
