Does what is was made to do.
I was more than a little pleasantly surprised at how good this little machine was capable of producing excellent quality pizzas. The learning curve can be pretty quick to learn and reduce the number of burnt pizza crust that you may encounter when first starting.One of the secrets is that you need to get the pizza stone up to about 922°F. Once you’ve done this, and your pizza is ready to slide into the oven for baking. You need to turn the heat down to the lower setting which will give you a little bit more time to spin the pizza around, cook the Crust thoroughly and pull out the pizza within 60 seconds to two minutes.It is capable of making pizzas that are significantly better than pizzas made in your home oven. I enjoyed it so much that I purchased another 16 inch Oven for my daughter. You’re going to need a good Pizza peel, digital thermometer, and perhaps even the little implement that assists you in rotating your pizza deep in the oven.Enjoy your time with this machine.

Works as intended. Tricky to get the crust as we like it, will take time to work with the settings. Fun activity however.

Failure to reach 900℉. Critical ERROR in instructions; terrible customer support
The sweet talking ooni customer support is terrible_my motivation for rating of 1. In spite of our going the extra mile in purchasing THEIR surface thermometer customer support ignored our readings of the surface of 315℉. Ooni support ignored our claim of oven not reaching 900℉ by using their thermometer. They asked for pictures of the flames inside the unit which I sent to them _ resulting in no response. They turned around the problem (ignoring the oven performance claim) and accused us of miss-using the celsius button, the Fahrenheit button on their thermometer. There were multiple message exchanges which wasted my time. There are 3 buttons on their thermometer C, F, and m. The value of m (emissivity is preset at the factory according to their user guide). Ooni support wanted me to create a video showing the value read on their thermometer and the button to select C or F. Both my wife and I are highly educated; I study theoretical physics.Alright, what is the critical error in their user guide: they instruct the user to connect the female end of the line from the propane tank to the male end of oven’s regulator BY HAND. Doing this will create a massive leak of gas that prevents the gas from reaching the inside of the oven.Anyone who worked with threaded male and female brass fittings know they MUST use yellow plumbing tape around the male end before hand screwing on the female connector to prevent leaks. Did they tell me this? No they just wanted me to prove the correct button was being pressed via requested videos_which I ignored.Subsequently, I remembered how to join threaded gas fittings and used yellow tape appropriately. Once I did this the unit headed properly sufficiently to cook our first pizza.

Great pizza almost immediately
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I read reviews saying this was the best pizza oven in its price range. And now I believe them. This thing gets crazy-hot. We could not BELIEVE how fast our pizzas cooked. We assumed it would take about 10 minutes. Closer to 2. You’ll definitely want to buy a peel though! We improvised with an overturned sheet pan. Not cute.

Loved it! Bought the Ooni Koda 16 to master our home pizza making game and I’m so happy with my purchase.A big shoutout to the Pizza Pro team and especially Mr Praveen who was proactively working to make sure our order reached us on time since delivery was delayed by Bluedart. They continue to have some of the best customer service and have provided untiring support over WhatsApp to all my queries :)The oven is amazing and with the right dough recipe we’ve been able to churn out amazing restaurant style Pizzas at home at a fraction of the price.The oven is solidly reliable, looks sleek, and is exceptionally easy to setup and use. Just need to get your hands on an LPG cylinder (which I had to get since my home runs on piped gas), and you’re good to go.It does take 40 mins or so on high to reach 400*C which PizzaPro assured me is normal since you don’t get pure Propane in India, and LPG contains high volumes of butane which makes it difficult to attain high temperatures in the 20 mins advertised on the Ooni website and booklets. Once it’s ripping hot, it takes less than 80 seconds to get a pizza ready. Make sure to get an infrared thermometer to monitor temps!Can be easily used for making naans, grilling veggies and meat, among other things. Super excited to explore the full possibilities!

Amazing! Everything you could want in a pizza oven. Hits 900+ degrees effortlessly, even in the winter (although it can take up to 30 minutes to get there when it’s cold). Definitely get the 16 inch.

Ce four est parfait ! Après avoir hésité entre un four à bois ou gaz j’ai opté pour le Ooni Koda 16 pour sa facilité d’enfournement et de rotation de la pizza et surtout pour le contrôle de la température beaucoup plus facile qu’avec du bois sachant qu’un four à bois ne va pas changer le goût de vos pizzas napolitaines vu qu’elles cuisent entre 1min30 et 2min autant prendre un four à gaz surtout quand on doit sortir pas mal de pizzas quand les copains viennent pour l’apéro .Les matériaux sont de très beau qu’aminée et très belle finition .L’inconvénient pour moi c’est en hiver , une porte aurait été la bienvenue pour monter le four en température plus rapidement et éviter de dépenser autant de gaz à vide , c’est le seul reproche que je peux lui trouver .Les soirées pizza sont devenues incontournables dans la famille et tout le monde en réclame !
