This container mix works best with outdoor container plants, including your favorite flowers, annuals, perennials, vegetables, and shrubs. To apply, select a pot with a drain hole. Fill the pot about 1/3 full with potting soil. Loosen the root ball of your plant and place it in the pot. Add more potting mix and press lightly to level. Water your plant and let it drain. For optimal results, refer to plant tags for specific sun and shade needs. Let mix dry to the touch between waterings; do not allow plants to sit in drainage water. To avoid soil compaction and replenish nutrients, all container plants should be repotted annually or as needed with fresh Miracle-Gro® Potting Mix. I recently purchased the Miracle-Gro Potting Mix and I am extremely impressed with its quality and performance. I’ve used this potting soil many times, my plants love it
This has been my go-to potting mix for years. I’ve used it both indoors and in outdoor containers, and it has always been of reliably high quality. My plants do very well in this mix, which is why I keep purchasing it. I’ve seen reviews reporting insects, but that has never been my experience. Maybe I’ve just been lucky but I’ve never encountered gnats or any other insect in this mix.

Cant beat the price
I can’t afford the expensive organic potting soil and found miracle grow to be an affordable option. I ordered three (2cu ft) bags to fill my garden tower. The soil performed very well and by the end of the growing season, I had a nice harvest. I didn’t have problems with any gnats as other reviewers states. (I’ve also ordered about 10 bags of miracle grow garden soil — no gnats).Bottom line:. It’s dirt!

I love this- use this size now because its easy for a 1 bedroom apt. I use it for cuttings, transplants and seed. Always have 1 around. The fertilizer is in it, but gentle and doesn’t burn my plants.8/14/20 I ORDERED THE ABOVE POTTING MIX AGAIN BUT FROM JTL- I JUST OPENED THE BOX AND AM STUCK WITH 2 BAGS OF SEED STARTER MIX-NOT THE POTTING MIX I PAID FOR -BE CAREFUL WHO YOU BUY FROM—I CAN’T GET MY MONEY BACK AND HAVE NO POTTING MIX-WHICH I DESPARATELY NEEDED FOR 5 GALLON POTS OF 2 YEAR OLD PEPPERS—-WHAT A RIP OFF
