Yes, I love the look of them and they do hold water but only temporarily. The water cans will leak if water is kept in the container.

Another sweet addition to the garden
This is one of my Mother’s Day gifts to my wife who has an extensive garden and loves having beautiful but useful items out there. This fits both requirements. It is really an attractive watering can with a screw on head that allows you to either pour water directly on a plant or fan it out and sprinkle when needed.It is a galvanized steel metal can that has been coated green with copper handle on top and side with copper at the sprinkle head and a copper ring around the base. It holds approx. 1 gallon of liquid. Feels good in hand and easy to distribute. All-in-all a nice functioning yet attractive addition to the garden.

Usable, But Disappointing.
Positives, first.My watering kettle arrived on time. Being in with other things, it was sufficiently packaged, and arrived without shipping damage. It is true to size and style shown, and functions as it should. No leaking so far.The cons.I’m no metallurgist or whatever – but given the listing images and description, I thought this was something along the lines of a copper metal-coated alloy steel can. But it appears to be more like painted to LOOK like a copper-coated can. Perhaps in the way of science, both are true; but the only reason I care, is because – durability concerns…and the paint / coating job is horrendously sloppy and uneven. That is, paint drips and one side of the can having one pattern / design – and the other side having another. Not at all like the uniform “distressed copper” look pictured in their listing. Rustic is nice; sloppy is just sloppy.The can itself wasn’t neatly constructed, either. Fortunately all of this bad make job is inside the can where it can’t be seen. But it is bad enough to be insulting. The bottom of the can is actually uneven inside. A mess drenched in whatever coating they used to simply cover it. Not cover it up. Just cover it. Which of course, given its foundation – the coating is rough and splotchy inside. There is also a dent in the can near the handle. Fortunately, it is minor and relatively more tactile than it is visible. Had it been made and coated with some pride (that is, neatly – like the maker gave a s***) – I would have given this 4 or 5/5 stars. It being light isn’t a bad thing – but I wonder whether it is simply a tell in this case, that it is just cheap, given everything else.Given everything else – I must agree with another reviewer who said this thing is only worth half what she paid for it. Less than half. Only reason I gave it no less than 3 stars, is because it will do the job I need it to do, and I like the style and function. As for its appearance – hopefully others seeing it might just think it was gifted to Me by a pre-teen niece or nephew who did an impressive job for their age, in some art class. It would be a less embarrassing story than the fact that as an adult, I paid an official business $25 for it.

This is a really great little watering can , well designed and very attractive & ideal for use in watering my Hanging Baskets.

Not only functional but decorative as well. A definite 2 for 1.

Its well made and very cute. It balances very well in my hand and the nozzle water well on small garden plants.
