A Decent Seed Kit for Beginners, But Inconsistent Results with Some Varieties
This salad growing kit is a great starter for anyone wanting to grow fresh veggies at home. It’s simple to set up, especially for small gardens or hydroponic systems, and includes everything you need. I appreciated the clear labeling of seed types, which made organizing and planting easy. The tomato seeds performed very well, with healthy sprouts reaching 5–6 inches in about a month. Baby lettuce also grew quickly and added a nice touch to our indoor garden. However, the strawberry seeds—especially the white ones—were disappointing. I had no luck getting them to sprout, even after multiple attempts using both the pods and tissue method. The red strawberries showed minimal growth. I also found the included plastic pod covers flimsy and hard to fit. While the soil pods worked fine for tomatoes, results were inconsistent across other seeds.Overall, this kit is a good option if you’re mainly interested in leafy greens and tomatoes, but I’d suggest testing different soil or skipping the included pods if you run into issues. Not sure I’d repurchase this exact set, but it’s a decent value for the seeds alone.

Great replacement pods and seeds for AeroGarden
Great germination rate. All different types of seeds have sprouted. I already had an AeroGarden, but all of my previous herbs had died. I’m super happy with these replacement seeds and pods. I’m happy with the variety and the price of this kit.

Only good part is tomatoes and plant baskets, maybe soil
Update: So, seller contacted me about my concerns and gave me a couple of suggestions to help with growth. They have issued me a refund. I am happy with their customer service and attempting to make things right. So, some good things and bad things. So, the tomato seeds seem to be working, got really good growth on both of them, no tomatoes yet, but it’s only been a little over a month I think. They have grown to 5-6 inches. The strawberries on the other hand…. I have replanted the white strawberries twice; they have not sprouted at all. The red strawberries have sprouted a little, but slow going, they are about an inch or 2 tall. Now, I used a couple of my starter soil things from a previous batch of a different brand, Those I used for the tomatoes, so I don’t know if these starter soil pods are really any good. I have used them for a couple other seeds, the growth is slow going or not working at all. So, I might try the seeds that haven’t worked so far in a different soil pod to see if that is an issue. I do not like the little plastic cups that cover the pods, they don’t go over the baskets very well. I will not buy this set again and will just buy the brand that I previous got beforehand, I had just wanted the seeds that came with it, so thought of getting them with soil pods at the same time.

A Green Oasis in My Kitchen
I recently tried the inbloom Organic Salad Green Seed Pod Kit and it has completely transformed my kitchen. Growing my own fresh salad greens has never been this easy or enjoyable. From the moment I set it up, I felt like a true gardener without all the mess. The kit came with everything I needed to get started right away. I was so excited to see the tiny sprouts emerge after just a few days. Watching the plants grow taller each day was incredibly satisfying. The fast lettuce and butter lettuce were ready for harvest surprisingly quickly. There is nothing quite like picking your own greens for a crisp, fresh salad. The taste of these homegrown vegetables is absolutely incredible. They are so much more vibrant and flavorful than anything I buy at the store. Even my family, who can be picky eaters, loves the salads we make now. I appreciate knowing exactly where my food comes from and how it was grown. This kit truly makes healthy eating accessible and fun for everyone. It has added a wonderful touch of green to my home and a fresh element to my meals. I highly recommend the inbloom kit to anyone looking to embrace hydroponic gardening.

From Cattle Farmer to Salad Gardener – Sprouts in Days!
As a former cattle farmer, let’s just say salad isn’t usually the main event on my plate. I’m about as far from a vegan as you can get, but I definitely appreciate fresh flavor in my dishes.I’ve been trying to eat healthier and use more organic ingredients, so I decided to try my hand at gardening. As a total beginner, I bought an AeroGarden, and this seed pod kit made the process unbelievably easy. You just pop the pods in, add water and the included food, and that’s it. I was amazed that they had already started to sprout after just a few days!I’m looking forward to the harvest, because having fresh cherry tomatoes and lettuce growing right on the counter will be fantastic for adding a burst of flavor to any dish.If a guy like me can go from farming cattle to growing sprouts on the kitchen counter, anyone can. This kit is a perfect, foolproof way to get started. Highly recommend!
Reviewing for you –
Meh…so far….and still is as of my update.
***UPDATE 5/2025Sooo, after much conversation with vendor and trying to make this work all I got out of it was 2 tomato plants. As seen in the picture everything else either died at the time this picture was taken or shortly thereafter. I transplanted both tomato plants outside and am hoping for the best but in all honestly I still can’t recommend because this was a lot of time and effort to end up with 2 tomato plants and the one is iffy. Aerogarden is expensive but so much easier and their lettuce grows.Never again! There are too many things you have to do, with aerogarden you need to only pop them in the unit. This kit wants you to germinate with tissue paper which I started yesterday. I also noticed that you need to move everything after it gets growing, didn’t realize that when I purchased. You need to make this easier for people like Aerogarden, just pop in and let grow. So this is not a great value for the money so far but after germination and growth I will come back and adjust accordingly if this works out.

Tedious new pod system. I would not have bought these if I knew how labor intensive these pod are.
I have never received hydroponic seeds in this fashion. The seeds are in little bags that you have to cut open and transfer to another tiny bag. I was lucky I had some around. Very tedious and complex. In the past I have bought pods already filled with the appropriate seeds. This is messy and time consuming. Hopefully they will grow.
