These actually work in the rain and cold weather!
I would highly recommend these lights for anyone looking for a nice ambient light that actually works when you leave them out in the rain, sun, heat and cold! I bought these in March 2021, left them in the yard until November 2021, brought them in for the winter and they work just fine once again! Super easy to assemble. They’re attractive and I have them hanging on 18” little metal posts I picked up at the dollar store last year. I thought I might need to go around and shut them off (each lantern has an on/off switch that I only ever turned off when I stored them for the winter) or that they’d get wet inside and stop working for after a month or two. Not the case though and I’m just thrilled with them. The lights appear brighter in my photos but they do give off more light than you’d expect, perhaps because they’re hanging 18” off the ground. You can’t go wrong with these especially at this price point! I haven’t even needed to replace the batteries yet which is amazing.

Ambient lighting
I will have to say that these lights are really pretty. I love the candle design and everything but I was hoping these lights were brighter. These lights are more ambient lighting. However my purpose for them in my garden were to light up the surrounding area better. I do have these lights on a slope and that may possibly be a factor for where the direction of lighting I want didn’t go my way. They are pretty to look at. It’s pitch black around my house so I have invested in trying out the different solar lights out there on the market and really hoped these lights would be super bright. They are literally candlelight bright. They are very decorative in my yard and that’s a plus for me. Some of the lights I put in the front of my property I have against a wall which do make the lights appear even more brighter so depending on where you want to place your lights I guess. Another plus for me is that these lights kick on at night and go off by 5am so when I end up waking and going out front for a smoke up until then at anytime of the night, it’s really nice to see the candle lights. The quality seems decent. I have other gigalumi lights that hold up very well. The lights endured severe thunderstorms and flash floods and cold weather just fine shining strong so a big super plus for these lights!

Haven’t found better
I ordered these about a year and a half ago and they’ve performed well. (And appear to be the same price they were back then.)Around half have stopped working over time and I’m thinking about ordering more. They aren’t super bright — won’t illuminate an area — but their nightlight-y glow is reliable for differentiating pathways or helping delivery people find the right spot after dark. I like that they need almost no maintenance or interaction, no charging or remembering to turn on. They just work well for helping outline our dark front area, and I even like that they tend to run out of charge after four hours or so of dark, leading to minimal light pollution in the wee hours.I don’t love the look, not hideous but not my style, but haven’t found similar options I like better. Our have been knocked over enough by wind or clumsiness and not broken that I’d hesitate before getting a glass jar-style light to do the same job.

Wonderful lights
I love these. Purchased a second time to add to my yard and as a gift for my mom. They hold up very well and are charming. The flexibility of the post or hanging clips is a great feature. They charge well and stay lit for a long time. Might purchase yet another set!

Wonderful lights
Loved these lights! The light is nice and bright but it is not very “big,” if that makes sense? Basically, they add nice, romantic lighting to your pathway but it’s not something that would fully light up your entire pathway – which is what I was looking for. I didn’t want anything obnoxious or cheesy looking so these were perfect.They are truly waterproof (we’ve had some storms and they’ve held up beautifully), and they are plastic but sturdy and of good quality – they look like metal.One of the lights did end up being way dimmer than the others, but the customer service was great and issued me a refund for the damaged light, so I’m still giving it 5 stars. I did need one more light to complete my pathway, so I ordered their two-pack and simply replaced the damaged one, so no harm done. (I actually just placed the damaged one ony dining room table centerpiece just as a decorative piece and it looks wonderful).Great product!

Beautiful lighting, but I couldn’t repair them.
My only complaint is I bought them in May, tried to change the battery on one of the lights & it still doesn’t work. They are not sold separately and cost over $40 to replace the 8 lamps.
