Here’s just a few of the standout features …✅ Skillfully designed and engineered, with an old school, all-metal build that’s both solid and durable.✅ The large bypass cutting blades are made from high performance SK5 metal and given two layers of protection; non-stick teflon to slow the build-up of resins and powder-coated paint (IGP) for hardness and weather resistance.✅ To optimize leverage, the handles have been covered with no-slip PVC grips that have just the right amount of cushion for comfort and control. I have large hands, and the grip feels natural.✅ Internally, the shears have an upgraded sealed spring system that’s advertised to be jam-proof and rust-resistant, qualities that are critical for smooth operation when cutting moisture-packed branches or tough, dry limbs. I found the spring to be responsive, with a good balance between tension and resilience; this is important for keeping hand fatigue at a minimum.✅ The shears have a MAX cutting capacity of 0.8-inches, or 20-mm.✅ Backed by a LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY.❗️The only design element that doesn’t quite cut it for me is the plastic lock switch. Equally important, at no time did I experience any of the bothersome signs of hand fatigue; a testament of good ergonomics. Only just got them and used once but seem to be sturdy and they cut a small branch. I just hope they keeps springing open after each cut of a twig/branch, only time will tell.

These are very good secateurs and I have no problem in recommending them. I’ve tried them out briefly in the front garden and they cut cleanly with their heavy duty sharp steel blades. They seem to be well-made and typically have a side locking mechanism. Price is probably just about right, although you might find cheaper if you search online.
