Bought this lamp to use beside my recliner for extra light. It was a perfect fit. Just the right height and the on /off controls are in just the right place for me to reach up and use. The goose neck is very sturdy and holding the lamp head very well. I did not have an issue of the lamp head sagging at all. It has great stability as the base is very heavy. I have mine sitting on low pile carpet and it does not lean or wobble at all. The electric cord is a good length for me. The light is very bright in it’s highest mode but can be dimmed to a softer light which is a nice feature. This also works very well. It went together very quickly. I think a problem some people are having during assembly is they may be “cross threading” the poles when they are putting them together. Just take your time and screw them together straight on. You can kind of feel when its going on right. The only dislike I had was there was only one screw holding the base to the pole. There are two drilled and tapped holes in the inside adaptor that holds the pole but only one hole in the pole to put in the one screw. I don’t know why they did not go ahead and put in a second hole in the pole and supply a second screw. The way it is now the one screw holds the pole to the base but there is some “play” in the pole which I personally think puts some strain on the one screw. I may drill a second hole in the outside of the pole to put in a second screw. My suggestion is if you buy this, after assembly, pick up the lamp by the pole with one hand and the base with the other. Other wise this is an awesome lamp that I have been searching for a while. I may buy another to use in my workshop as it is very portable. Hope this helps others make a decision to purchase.

Perfect hobby lamp!
I LOVE this lamp! I do cross-stitch and need a light to come from my left side as I stitch. This lamp is the perfect size (not too tall), with a base that is just large and heavy enough to be sturdy, but not awkward to lift or place anywhere. The options for color of light and brightness control are essential, and the LED lighting won’t make me too warm as my incandescent work light used to. Best hobby lamp I’ve ever had!

Good light. Easy assembly. Adjustable brightness and color temperature. Non replaceable bulbs so when it eventually dies, out it goes. A bit plasticky, so not a fashion statement but very functional. Overall ok.

Excellent light. Nice sturdy base. Different light modes , big light space & gooseneck make for ease of use & great light variances. I’m using the light mainly for handwork. In addition to using it on a daily basis, I’m planning to take it to quilting retreats. Planning to make a cloth bag to cover the light when transporting, perhaps that would be a great add on for the company to offer.Very satisfied with this purchase.

This lamp is exactly what I hoped for. The bright light is great for reading and am looking forward to using if with crafts. Really helps the old eyes to see detail better. My husband put it together without problems. Trick seems to be doing it slowly and carefully and during part of the process four hands made things easier than two. The base is very heavy and that’s great to keep it from tipping. And although heavy I am able to move the lamp. Pleased with purchase and am thinking of getting another one for a different room.

This lamp is easy to assemble and reasonably priced. It has a lot of great features. I like that it has four variations of white light and that it has stepless dimming. It is excellent for reading fine print and doing craft work. I also am pleased that with its flexible neck it can be turned to face upward to light the ceiling and thus flood in the entire room with extra light when that option is desired. The yellow power button stays lit when the lamp is off so that it can be found in the dark. The only thing it lacks is a remote control which some of the other LED lamps do have. For some reason these LED lamps are equipped with thin delicate cords on heavy plugs so I got cord protector for both my lamps. Am so glad to finally have good lighting. This really fills the bill.

Excellent for indirect lighting (off ceiling or wall), very flexible neck. My only complaint — I would prefer soft white to daylight white.

Straightforward, easy to assemble. Colour of the “white” lamp itself is more like a light gray. Brightness of the lamp is just as expected, varying between bright/soft/warm and dimmable for each level. Not as bright as a daylight lamp but definitely bright and much much cheaper than a daylight lamp. Shorter than most floor lamps, but this works great for shining directly at your workspace or desk or craft area, instead of towards the roof. I have a very dark corner needing to get brightened up and this is easily maneuvered for optimal placement. First photo is lamp on the brightest white setting, second photo is the lamp off.
