Best Violet Pot on the Market!
Exactly what I was looking for. This is made well with a finished ceramic on the outside pot and top rim of the inner pot, while leaving the unfinished clay on the inside to allow for the violet to get watered. Not to be confused with those pots that are made of inferior white dolomite. This is the real deal! I have ordered this type of pot before and the moisture level is perfect for violets. Easy to use, very nice look/style. You will love it!

It’s beautiful on its own and it just works
I waited a while before giving reviews and now I can say my violettes have never looked better. It just works. Beyond that — and that’s a big deal — is the glazing is so beautiful. The cream color, shape, size, and right amount of glaze that gives some transparency makes this a perfect piece of pottery. I can’t stop looking at the pottery. Add the violette on top of it and it’s sublime. I bought five of them and will buy more.

The reserve tank doesn’t leak.
Larger than I expected. Really like the cobalt blue color.Easy to use, just fill the reserve water tank. Be aware tonot fill the tank too full when you place the potted plant intothe reserve tank. Too much water and it overflows.

Nice pot works great
I am really happy with this pot. I have ordered other ones that don’t work well and been disappointed. The inner pot does not sit in enough to keep the plant watered well. Not this one though. I like the size and color as well as how well it works enough that I will definitely order it again if the need arises. It is worth every penny

Moisture escapes the bottom onto your table surface
Cute pot that works well. Smaller than I thought. The bottom isn’t painted and so moisture leaves the inside finger water well and builds up on the window seal. Disappointed I have to put a plastic tray under this spot.

The perfect pot!
Bought the pot to repot an african violet that was struggling. Since I repotted the plant the plant is thriving.. due to the pot and how you water from the bottom. Fill the outer pot and the inside pot aborbs the water. I bought another one for the Xmas cactus and it loves the pot.

Beautiful pot for orchids or African violets
I got this for one of those little mini orchids that you buy in the grocery store. It comes in such a teeny tiny pot that I almost killed it several times because it would dry out in a couple days. Anyway, I find these African violet pots great for my other orchids. This one has plenty of room For the roots to expand and the reservoir is generous. Probably won’t have to add water more than once a month. Anyway, it was looking pretty sad yesterday and it already looks happier and I just planted it a few minutes ago.These pots do not need a hole or holes in them. I saw another reviewer saying they had to drill a hole but that is false. The inner pot is not glazed and it absorbs water through the pot and into the soil/plant in the pot. Natural clay is porous when not glazed and that is how it works so please do not go drilling holes in the pot or not buy it because you think it is missing holes. Hope this helps someone. I have tons of these types of pots and they are the best for almost any plant not just an African violet. You can actually take a clay pot and set it in a deep saucer of water and let it take up water from below. This is how plants and trees work in the ground so it’s a more natural way to water plants anyway.Also, in case you’re worried about it, it comes in a box and they have the two pieces separated with Styrofoam so they’re not clanking around in the box. It would really be hard for this to arrive broken unless someone really abused it. It’s very well padded.Edited to add that I got another one in the copper color for an aloe plant that I planted from a seed and wanted to repot.
