Our Story
I’m Daniel, a carpenter. In 2015, my wife’s pregnancy with our first child brought new meaning to my life. Amid the joy, I began scrutinizing the safety of everyday kitchen utensils. I discovered harmful chemicals in plastics. Drawing on my carpentry experience, I recognized the benefits of natural materials like wood. This led me to create AIUHI, specializing in safe, sustainable wooden kitchen utensils crafted from natural materials.
How did we get our start?
Our team focus on handcrafted wood utensils has evolved over 20 years of experimentation in the woodshop and kitchen. I hope you will enjoy the balance, function, and quality I have built into every utensil and that they will serve you with pleasure for many years.

Great utensils
I am really impressed with the quality of these utensils. The only one I’m not super impressed with is the whisk. It’s not really sturdy. The rest of the utensils have held up well.

Lovely set of utensils!
Bought these as a Christmas gift for my sister and a year later they are still holding up nicely. They have darkened over the months with use but they are sturdy and haven’t cracked or warped, and she cooks a lot.

Really nice utensils
I absolutely love these! I love having a no plastic option for my cooking utensils. I have quite a few bamboo spoons but didn’t have a slotted spoon, tongs or spatula that was safe for ceramic cookware (I have metal utensils but I can’t use them on the ceramic). I use these everyday and they are holding up very well to the frequent use. They’re easy to clean & maintain with a little mineral oil (okay slotted spoons are NEVER easy to clean when serving with sauces, like alfredo). I got another tool though that gets into the nooks and crannies really well and makes cleaning easy. Anyhow, there is a utensil for nearly every function (even a ladle, which is a little small, it serves more of a 1/2-ish cup serving instead of a 1 1/2 -2 cup serving most plastic ladles hold). They fit in the hand well and aren’t slippery when oiled. They have been a worth while buy.I will say they did come around the time expected (which was an oddly long lead time) but that is because they delayed shipping them for 2 to 3 weeks which I thought was odd? That was the only real down side. I wanted them by Xmas but due to they delayed shipment, they came after (which they said would happen). Maybe they were waiting on a restock? The product is good but if you want it fast, there’s a potential that might not happen.

Delivered today and had a look as it’s a Xmas present and they are Not very good quality the ladle has a chip in it and there was no broken piece in the box so it was broken before packagingDisappointed

I’m very upset. I bought this set deliberately due to the soup spoon. The set looks nice, but the spoon had a minor chip . After one use (in cold water) and while wiping the spoon with a soft cloth, the spoon chipped in two places. As if it was made of paper. Not worth a penny. I wanted to contact the seller to ask for another spoon but there’s no option. That’s very limiting and disappointing.
