Okay – I looked and looked and looked, purchased others that failed to work, and these…well just WOW!!! Very slight odor of glue that I am betting will dissipate over time. Not strong, and nothing that will permeate a room. Somewhat similar to Elmer’s white glue. These fit PERFECTLY into the shelf I have and are visually appealing, making it look well-organized. I LOVE the lids to help keep dust out. They are stiff and sturdy. So much so that we thought the box we received contained wood, it was that heavy (I ordered 8 of these). One top had a wonky corner seam, but because they fit so well into the shelf, no one will see it unless they pull the cube out. At the time of my purchase, there were only 30 reviews, and most were on free product provision. I was concerned about that. Let me tell you, if you are hesitating, don’t. Measure your space to make sure the cubes will fit the shelf. The ones I have are 12x12x12 inches. I WILL buy again should I ever need more cubes. Just lovely. Well done!!! Thank you for decent quality. It is appreciated.UPDATE: I have since purchased four more sets of these, and they have not disappointed. My husband and I are purging and organizing, and these are just the best. I crochet, so my newest ones are to store my yarn. Just great. To the manufacturer – Thank you for making such a good product. Again, if you’re hesitating, don’t I am vry happy with these.

Cute functional storage
These are sturdy and cute and the shade of pink I ordered looks exactly like the picture, thankfully. The only reason I’d say they’re 4 stars instead of 5 is that with the lid on, these are too big to actually fit in the 11″ cube shelves they are advertised for. They fit perfectly with the lid off, but now I have random lids laying around… oh well.

I love the color… Turquoise (green/blue).They are the correct size to fit in the high end all wood color Cherrywood foldable shelves units that can be stackable. (Sadly they never came back into stock with their tops.) I bought many years ago for my small bedroom.Now find these perfect box that slide right into place. The quality seems sturdy. Now, we are talking about 11x11x11 box to holding things. But I find it holds my clothes. I love when doing laundry I can move it to the laundry room after drying and ironing I can put them right into the storage return to the shelf making laundry day a breeze. Ease to use, quick cleaning if need to let dry & place sachet to keep everything smelling fresh. I love having the cover…make it look more professional. Clean up my shelves.Yes, I would buy more if I could. But sadly they don’t carry my color anymore. I’m glad that I bought what I could before they sold out. Not into the other colors.For the money part that up yo the individual. For me they are priceless because they fit perfectly for what I need.
