SCHTUMPA 21V Electric Pruning Shears, works great, I was a bit skeptical but the arthritis in my hands convinced me to give it a try. Wow, I wish I had found this pruner years ago. It is easy to use, my hands are much less painful. I’ve gone through a lot of branches now and must say, I am impressed! There is a lot of power in the jaws and the battery lasts a long time. Be sure not to get your fingers in the cutters, you will lose them. Great product! Hopefully it will last.

Great electric clippers
These are really great! They are strong so be careful. They cut through chain link fence which trying to cut trumpet thick vines. It gives those who have trouble with hand strength due to a Muscular Dystrophy feel like they can still help do trimmings. I bought them for my spouse. They really are worth having, it does take a few minutes getting use to them. Planning on getting a second pair. Oh, it comes with blade change and two rechargeable batteries with a plug in charger. Happy snipping & cutting.

Awesome clippers
These powerful clippers really help get a lot of gardening done. Just be very mindful when using this tool. Highly recommended for trimming even larger branches. This is my second pair (bought as a gift). Really saves your hands from fatigue. Good battery life and has a spare battery.

Very efficient. Easy to cut
Although this is easy to cut, it takes a little practice to cut accurately. When pruning, it is important to cut just above the “collar” on a limb. That necessitates placing the upper blade against the correct spot and then deploying the trigger. I have a hard time discerning whether the tool is set to the wider cutting setting, or the narrower. And I have to refer to the directions to remember how to change between settings. Might be helpful if a label was added to the tool as a reminder. Cuts cleanly. Weight is acceptable. Grip is ok as a woman with largish hands (although arthritic). Note that this is an anvil cutting tool – the top blade slices through the blade and meets the lower wide lip. Technically, it is better to use bypass pruners when cutting limbs (upper and lower blades bypass each other during the cutting phase.

These shears are incredible. They’re strong and quickly cut through good sized branches. It holds its charge exceptionally well. A word of caution: keep one hand behind your back or far away from these shears when using. They can easily cut off a finger or worse.

I needed this to clean up my numerous fruit trees. I’ve been doing the endless small cuts with a manual pruner, but lately, all my finger joints would swell and hurt for days after a few hours of cutting small branches. So, I was looking for something like this. I wanted DEWALT, but it was too much money. I even almost bought one set (a pruner, one 2ah battery, and a single charger) on sale at Home Depot for $165.00.Then I saw this one on Amazon. The price was more than great, the specifications matched Dewalt, and there were two batteries (also, 2Ah). BUT, is it any good? Can it do the job? Based on other reviews, I decided to try. I got it this morning, installed a battery, and right away went to the orchard to try it. IT WORKS!!! It cut through the fallen and the live branches with no hesitation. It even cut a thick branch – it could barely grab it. Granted, it took three cuts, but it cut it!! AMAZING!!! And, most importantly, my fingers are spared and not hurting. Meet my new best friend!!!
