Hi, I am the Director of Stewardship Ministries at the Redwood Gospel Missions in Santa Rosa, CA. We have a good size garden at our Women and Children’s Family Campus and we are blessed to have volunteers as well as our students participate in the planting and caring of it. I purchased several of the GrowIt Gardening Tool kits for individual volunteers and was so pleasantly surprised at the quality of the bag and the tools. Everyone loved them and were so excited! When I opened one of the boxes and was unwrapping the tools I found one to be missing. I contacted the company and explained the circumstances and was told instead of sending one tool, we will send another bag at no charge. So not only was the product fun and functional, the customer service was like working with close family. Everything you need, especially for a beginner!!
I’ve been using this for gardening for the past year. None of my tools have broke, and all are still in usable and great condition. The clippers are a little cheaply made, but everything else is great. I also love that it came with a bag, I store my porch brush in there as well! It literally comes with everything you need. I couldn’t recommend this enough… because I certainly couldn’t afford to buy all the tools separately.

Great Starter Set… Until the Pruner Had a Midlife Crisis
This GROWIT gardening tool set is like that dependable friend who shows up on time, brings snacks, and then accidentally breaks your lawn chair. It means well. The tools are sturdy enough, the canvas bag is cute and functional, and for a beginner like me — who still confuses mulch with compost — it gets the job done.BUT. Let’s talk about the pruner. The lock broke on first contact, like it saw a stem and said, “Nope. I’m out.” It’s now permanently unlocked, which adds a certain thrill to every use, like gardening with a mildly aggressive raccoon.If you’re just dipping your toes into the dirt-covered world of gardening, this set is perfectly serviceable for a season or two. But if you plan to one day whisper lovingly to your rose bushes in your retirement, do yourself a favor: save your shekels and invest in a set that doesn’t disintegrate when it sees a twig.Still, 4 stars for effort — and because everything else is holding together like champs… so far.

Nice Beginner Set for a New Gardener
I got this for my 17-year-old son who recently took an interest in gardening, and it’s a decent little starter kit. It has a good variety of tools, everything feels sturdy enough for beginner use, and it gave him everything he needed to get started. A solid set for someone just getting into gardening.
