Excellent desk lighting, very adjustable
This lamp is adjustable 6 ways, plus it offers 4 settings for color-temperature and 5 for brightness. I use it for general desk lighting and for circuit-board assembly and soldering. The swivel joint where the lamp attaches to the C-clamp, and the adjacent flex joint take a lot of stress when moving the lamp by the end. It is gentler on the lamp’s base but a little more awkward to stand up and use both hands to flex a joint. If half-stars were possible, I’d take off 1/2 for that lowest joint being somewhat delicate. But that is a small flaw in an otherwise excellent desk lamp. Adjusting the stiffness of the joints may might reduce the need to stand up to reposition it; I have not tried. The touch control sare very responsive but are a bit of a reach, being on the lowest segment. Moving them to the 3rd (top) segment would make them easier to use. The light output is excellent and doesn’t flicker. It can be folded up and positioned out of the way, if needed; I just rotate it to behind my monitor.

Brighten Your Day
I’ve been looking for a better lighting solution to several areas I use for sewing and crafting. I needed something that would be easily adaptable to every area and give me the best possible light. I have a couple of desk lamps, one is LED and the other one just uses a regular bulb. Still does not give me exactly what I need because of shadows or glaring light. They don’t clamp. And then Amazon recommended this. Not only did I get a $10 off coupon, it was delivered the very next morning by 7 am. I ordered it late in the evening before. I think this is going to take care of all of my issues. Seems to be very well made, very simple to use. It comes folded in a box, you just spread out the lights at the joints. You can easily twist them in the direction you would like. I love all of the different choices for light modes and brightness levels. The clamp seems to be very sturdy and very versatile. Holds up to two and a half inches. That does open up a lot of possibilities and should fit for most people’s needs. I’ll update later as time goes on as I use this. I think for the price, light quality, and adaptability, this is a very good purchase.

Offers great flexibility in creating desired position and mood, but clamp could be better
I really like this light. With its angular and rotational adjustability in all three of its sections, you have virtually limitless flexibility in how you configure it to meet your needs. Its warmth and brightness ranges extend this flexibility to create the exact lighting mood you are looking for. On the down side, as with most of these affordable LED lamps, the clamp is poorly designed and does not hold firm to the desk or other object you are mounting it to. It is made of stamped steel and, so, simply deforms as you attempt to tighten it securely. If you mount it and configure it only once, this is a tolerable shortcoming. However, if you have need to change the position of your lamp (and/or its sections) for various of uses from the same mounting position – general desktop, keyboard, soldering, assembling, and other tasks – you will likely be disappointed. This is what makes this lamp a 4-star instead of a 5-star. Finally, it would be great to see the same lamp in a form that is smart home compatible – Home Assistant, Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, etc. This would enable voice commands and smart automation so one might never have to touch a switch to activate the lamp, brightness, and color under the desired conditions. This is not a ding against this lamp because it was never designed/advertised to support this, but this is a niche that is yet to be adequately addressed by lamps of this type. In general, I am pleased with this lamp for what it is. I use this lamp in one position and at one color and brightness – mounted to a mic boom bracket 10 inches high at the side of my desk and extending straight out over my keyboard and mouse. This keeps the light where I need it – on my keyboard and desktop – while preventing the screen glare that usually results from placing it in a more common place like above the computer monitor. To turn it on an off with home automation, I plug it in to a smart outlet (sure would be great to have this built-in, as I stated above, to enable smart control of color and brightness, too). This lamp’s memory of its last setting is helpful, here, because unplugging it (which is how a smart outlet turns the lamp off) does not reset the color and brightness but retains the previous color and brightness … another nice feature of this lamp.

This seems to be a much better swing arm lamp than the two I purchased many years ago. Because it has longer arms and carefully turning each section you can focus light in practically any area. It’s different light temperatures and brightness settings for each particular temperature make this a dream to brighten your work area. Although I am not using it in the bedroom, anyone falling asleep watching TV will love the fact its built in timer will automatically turn it off in a half hour.

I purchased this light for watercolour painting in the evening when I need more light to seeMy work. Tons of light and you can choose different temperatures with a touch button. Cool to neutral to warmer. Also, touch adjustment for brightness. Arms rotate to change angles of the 2 light bars. This allows you to move easily under the light reaching for paints and water and tools. It is out of the way and doesn’t cast annoying shadows with the two bars of light. Would be perfect for studying, crafting or sewing or really any other hobby where you need more light. Oodles of light and not so bright that it affects your vision. The brightness, as I said, is completely adjustable as well. Eye safe light. It’s also very Light weight. Foldable to transport. Configuration allows you to move and work easily under it.It is absolutely perfect- and I hope it lasts!!! Fingers crossed.

Good modern lighting accessory for office desk/ study desk. Helps with eye fatigue also it gives you the option to direct the light where you want it to be focusing on. This is way better alternative than typical lamps due to not enough light specially when studying or reading. With this desk lamp it also doesn’t bother anyone else in the room with you with overwhelming light brightness. This light can be focused on a certain of the room without annoying anyone who might be trying to sleep or sensitive to bright lights. Really worth the purchase and would highly recommend. Easy to set up and straightforward functionality. It does gets really bright when set to the highest setting and can function as a mood lighting for the room. Multi purpose lighting at a good deal plus it has aluminum body.
