Everything is growing really well
I bought this set to give my 6-year-old an introduction to gardening and it’s been a huge hit. It has been a couple of weeks and everything is growing really well so far. She loves checking on the plants each day, giving them water, and charting their progress in the book that came with the set. Can’t recommend enough, this is a fantastic little set and would make a great gift too.

This has been such a fun experience for my son and I! We got to paint, plant, and water them together as well. We loved to see the basil sprout up so early ! Awesome kit for kids ! Easy to do as well.

It was ok
We got this as a Christmas present for the kids in 2023. Didnt get around to painting and planting until early 2025, and so the seeds may have gotten old or something.2 of the 3 plant types did not sprout even after following instructions. Also the little metal tins the plants go in leak.It was ok. Overall we had fun painting and planting. Just a bummer the 2 plants (the 2 my kids each picked for themselves) didn’t sprout.

Instructions were very good. I liked that the paints provided were in squeezable tubes..(easier to deal with and less mess) The aluminum pots are not fully sealed at the bottom and this might be by design as water can slowly escape and not cause saturation. Simply place a saucer of some kind under the pot…the pots took the paint very well.It was astounding how the little dry pucks they provided expanded into a lot of soil..the 3d stickers were great too, and the kids had fun labeling the plants using the 3 little wooden signs provided.I opted for this kit as it is national geographic. I had hoped that this would imply a good quality kit and I think it is.

I love that it’s super easy, the only thing I didn’t like was that you had to repaint the pots over and over because it wasn’t showing enough or kept chipping. But over all I loved it and had fun!

This is an end of the school year present for my grand-daughter. I was disappointed with the size of the items in this small box. I have seen National Geographic items at ToysRus and the box size was much bigger for a similar price.
